((Oss never drew his katana figuring they might not be much good regarding this creature.  He is merely wielding his Silver-Blade Andalite powers...A Silver-Blade is like an ascended andalite, basically one who's been touched by the Ellimist in some way.  Silver-Blades have limited telekinesis, small power of creation, direction of energy, extended supernatural senses, and some small ability with the manipulation of time.  :p))

Ossanlin watches as the thing exhales some sort of miasma and seems to melt inward, experiencing an advanced rate of decay.  His hands lay instinctively on the hilts of his katana, but he does not draw feeling that physical weapons probably wouldn't do too much good against this thing.

He turns a stalk-eye to look at Aliciania.  <I don't know Aliciania-ren, but it is not pleasant nor is it friendly.>

His main eyes stay on the being which is quickly becoming a pile of sludge and moves a stalk eye to Hunter and Parker.  <Don't let your guard down, any of you.  I don't know what this thing is doing, but I'm certain that it's still alive and willing to hurt us...it's aura is still here and the miasma off of it is thick.>

Ossanlin quickly spares a glimpse for the strange feline which had just spoken, strangely.  A greater focus on the creature brought the sense of an aura extending into another plane...how many cosmic-level beings were coming here anyway?!

"It seems it has done what I thought it would do. Drop dead any second." Danika said. But she gave a glance to her orb, to check what it said.

Further anomaly detected. Scans show no lifesigns, but a certain presence.

"I wonder if this thing is related to the acsended ones. Ellemist and Crayak." Danika walked closer to the mass, and sniffed the air. It smelled as horrid as one might think. She wasn't sure if she wanted to take it for testing, or not.

Shal bites her lip, contemplating the best place for Keirdan, or the best person for him to be with. She glances around the deck, looking for something to write on. Not seeing anything, she pulls her hand-held computer from her jeans pocket. The screen is cracked and dark. She hits it on her thigh twice before the screen begins to flicker. She quickly types in the word "Mar?", before showing it to Breekan.

"Rrrrrot." The zombie-bird spoke one word, through its breath it breathed out a fog that went back into his body. The moment it sucked the fog back in, its body just collapsed.

"What the **** is going on?"

Thor chimes in, <Sir, I wouldn't lower your guard, there are still energy readings emanating from the creature's position.>

Parker cuts his speakers off momentarily, "Yeah, the Andalight said the same thing. Any idea what it is?"

<No, sir. the strangest thing is that there are no life signs detected from the beast.>

"That's the strangest thing? it breathed fog, collapsed completely boneless, and the rest of it is decaying like it's at the bottom of a vat of acid. The fact that it doesn't give out a life sign is pretty expected."

<hmm... I see your point. Perhaps it would be best to withdraw while the beast is incapacitated.>

"No, if that thing is still 'alive' and still a threat? I'm not going to hide in a bar."

<Very well.>

Parker turns his external speakers back on, “So what the hell are we supposed to do now? Shovel it into a bag and toss it in the garbage?”

Just then Parker notices the grass-cat approaching the pile of refuse. It sniffs it curiously.

“You’re not planning on eating that are you?”

"I don't think I'll ever be hungry enough to try to eat that. even being near it makes my flesh tingle, and my hair stand on end. I may attempt to gather it into the pod, and send it back for observation." She said, as she walked back towards the group. "I don't suppose any of you have information on the anomaly of this place? It seems to have connections to multiple deminsions and realities. Even though it's on the edge of the galaxy, it seems to be a focal point of the universe."

((Welcome to Cosmic Beings Anonymous. Learn to abstain from distorting space and time by hearing the testimonies of your fellow non-gendered friends. Oh, and there's nachos after the class as a lunch break.  :P ))

Mar closes his eyes again, trying to both rest and get a feel for the situation. Unfortunately, his current condition makes this something of a pain in the neck. He has a pretty clear idea on where the auras of the Bar occupants are located, but he can't contact them from this distance and he has no idea what condition they're in. At least several of the occupants seem capable of fighting it, one of which is clearly Ossanlin. The demon could have bit one of their arms off and I'd never know this far away.

The only thing he can hope for is if someone contacts him instead. Mar lays against one of his shoulders irritably. I do not want Ossanlin to die in a fight. Even if he doesn't have any interest in me, I have interest in his strange abilities. .........although that may not be the only reason. I'm just rationalizing my clear bout of madness to myself. When.....if this is over, I'm opening up an entire bottle of Centauran alcohol.

On their way back to the bar, Temrash's ship picks up paculiar readings. "Oh boy. I'm getting some...familiar readouts. I think Mechastar may have dropped out of Z-Space near the bar. I've encountered it once, and it was a strange ordeal. If anyone sees any being that's there to study or observe anything around, do NOT let it take you inside its vessel. Unless you like being probed and studied."

"That's not a bad plan," Breekan nods. "Mar's enough of a coward that he'll keep Keirdan away from the danger, and enough of a power-house to protect him if it comes to that." He grimaces. "Let's just hope we can get him to look after him for free. Neither of us looks good in pink."

Shal smacks the back of Breekan's head, and grins at him. She sits back on her former perch, and looks around the interior of the ship, studying each of it's occupants in turn.

((Shal might look glorious in pink.  >:D And no worries. He'd do it for free, assuming he can find some way of getting back. Mar loves kids. ^^ ))

Mar raises an eyebrow, noting that another strange entity seems to have come towards the Bar. If this wasn't evidence that the place itself
attracted strange visitors, he didn't know what was. Mar shakes his head and sits up, wandering towards Tara. The beginnings of a splitting headache suggested he was beginning to sober up. Great.

Mar stands over Kara and states, "Are you alright, miss? We haven't talked much since the catastrophe broke out."

Reven leads the limping, half-conscious Gerard onto the bridge of Myitt's Cruiser.

"That," Reven says quietly, "was way too close."  He helps Gerard to a seat and straps him in, patting a cut on his head with an antiseptic wipe.

"Yeah, it was fun, wasn't it?" Myitt says, grinning.  She looks back at Mar, Kara and Zoshonel, as the ship courses its way through z-space.  "First of all, thank you.  All of you.  You really helped save our asses back there.  Now, I don't want to drag you deeper into this mess, so once we reach our rendezvous I'm going to trust you enough to have your own ship and go.  Wherever you need to go."  She looks at each of them.  "I trust one of you can fly an unmarked Skrit Na fighter?"

She eyes Mar.  "A demon?  Jeez, can't we get a break?  I don't like the idea of Cor and his little friends facing some nightmarish hellbeast, but I hope they can take care of themselves.  Yes, I think they can take care of ourselves.  I know I'll be fine, too, if you do go back to the bar.  We've been in worse spots, our crazy little band.  Well," she laughs, "not really.  But close.  And we've survived."  She ****s her head quizzically.  "Just how bad do you think this...presence...i s?"
---

Corliss laughs.  "Jedi.  Yeah, that sounds like the right vibe, Breek.  What do you think this creature is, then?  And why in bleeding Christ are we going towards it?"

"Well, I don't know about your beast, but mine likes to experiment on any cretures it gets its hands on. It's like Skrit Na, but more polite, and a LOT more powerful." Temrash said.

"Never really flown anything besides Draksar craft, but I think we can figure it out." Zoshonel said. "You're welcome."

Mar rubs the back of his head. "I highly doubt I can fly a machine like that, Myitt. But I will find my own way out of the Bar, yes. Assuming we can enter a crossroads like that. As for the demon..." *Mar stares off. "...it seems quite dangerous. But Ossanlin is with them, and with assistance I believe he could take care of the creature. To such a demon I would be utterly uninteresting except in the sense of a danger, so I may be able to provide assistance. ....I think. Unless of course it thinks I'm competition. Hardly. I have my sustenance."

Mar stays close to Kara, awaiting further instructions.

Breekan shrugs. "It's different from dad's big guns and it's different from the other guy's. It's not bigger than Dad, though, whatever it is. We just need to hope it doesn't have big friends." He looks out the view screen thoughtfully as he speaks, smiling a bit viciously as  he composes his next sentence. "As far as why, well... the bar's the closest most of us ever really get to a home. It's our place. If some big nasty's gonna try and hang up his hat..." he shrugs. "He'd better learn to play by the rules, you know?"
