He looks to Gaz and nods affirmatively. "I'm fine, I just needed to get hold of myself for a sec there. And I'm not sure what I mean by big except that it's, well, big. Like..." he scratches his head. "Alright, I don't know much about human religion, so forgive me if I'm being prejudiced here, but are you a Jet-dye? Tara was telling me about them once. At least, I think it was Tara." He settles back down into his chair, speaking with his hands as he tries to explain what he's thinking of.

"These Jet-Dye, they feel like, this force. The exact quote I heard was 'I feel a great disturbance in the force.' Now, I have no idea what that means. But, that's what this feels like." He looks up quizzically. "Does that make any sense?"

"Been to a lot of places," Gaz said, "but that's a new one to me. Don't quite grasp the context, but I think I understand your meaning."

Gaz swiveled in her chair and said, "How's the rest of you doing?"

"That's what I was about to ask," Fletcher said as he stepped in.

"What's goin on, Fletch?"

"I figured things in the engine room were fine," Fletcher said. "Decided to come see some friendly faces."

"We're thrilled," Gaz replied with no such enthusiasm.

"Somehow I don't think you mean that," Fletch said. "So, are we really leading Morgan back to the bar?"

"Yeah," Gaz said, "why?"

"Well," Fletcher said, "he did maroon me by the bar, you know."

"I'm sure you deserved it," Gaz quipped. "And you tried to steal..."

"I get the point!"

The (apparently) undead bird started to advance toward both Hunter and Parker. Although Parker sensed that it was much more interested in him by the way its head was slightly tilted in his direction.

With his sniper expertly trained between the creature’s eye sockets, Parker yells out, “Now we don’t want any trouble, but we’re not going to roll over either.  What do you want?”

Parker hopes this creature is here for a drink like everyone else. Unfortunately, it appears its preferred brand is ‘Souls on the rocks’ with a ‘shot of flesh’ to wash it down.

((Honestly...Shen, when you first joined with Mar and said you were a Shinigami, you made me think of the show Bleach...though I think Mar much more resembles a Shinigami from Death Note, but now Zomb's character reminds me very much of a Hollow, which are undead creatures borne of human souls that devour living souls to feed  (also from Bleach.)  Coincidence perhaps...I hope I'm not the only anime-head here.  :p))

Ossanlin quickly injects Asmodee with a sedative and activates the restraining field before he notices that the interior of his ship seems a little...cleaner... everything that had been knocked out of place had been replaced and...was the ship not tilting?  How had the front strut come back?  He starts the auto-med function and takes a quick look around before he whips his head around, his silver-blade senses running off the chart, all other things forgotten and pushed from his mind.  The feeling is so powerful that his fur ripples and turns silver almost instantly, his tailblade and hooves following suit.  <<Aliciania, something is out there....>>

Ossanlin quickly descends the correctly-oriented ramp and sees a very dark and mostly terrifying creature advancing on Hunter and the strange human...Parker.  His silver-blade genes show a sort of pit of darkness as the creature's aura...this thing was bad.  He gallops over to the fox and human, turning to face the creature.  <Isendye naimir rende.>  He turns a stalk eye on the other two.  <Don't let this get close to you.  I don't know what it is but I sense a blackness around it, an aura of shadow.>  Was it a creature of Crayak or something else...he had no way to know...

Ossanlin lashes his tail back and forth...he didn't know if he could even restrain the thing as a silver-blade...telekinesis and time-manipulation had their limits and this thing was no ordinary being.

Alic had followed the group into the ship and removed her tail from the unconscious Asmodee-yeerk. Something.. Her body was telling her something was wrong and it made her shiver, but she disregaurded the feeling until Ossanlin felt it too. Then she knew something wasn't right.
Rarely did Alic ever fear anything. The fact that there was something making her recognize that she does have weaknesses terrified and angered her.

Alic couldn't find herself capable to step completely out of the ship. She turned her stalk eyes to view the creature who was making her uncomfortable.
<What the hell is that?> The look and stench of the beast would have made her vomit if she had a mouth. <Ossy... I don't like this. You should get away from it.>

"I'm fine." Temrash said. "The worst seems to be over." Though Breekan's reaction made him nervous. Old war senses, you could say. He never totally relaxed himself and gotcomplacent, regardless of the situation.

**************

The Feline noticed the Andalite was weilding metallic blades with his arms. That was slightly interesting. They all seemed anxious, but then they were mortal. They only had one life, whereas she would have as many as her creator saw fit. She got up and walked closer to the group, but didn't walk between them.

"This may turn out to be quite the show." She said pleasantly in Galard.

((Coincidence, actually. XD Mar calls himself a Shinigami because this is the best description of what he actually does---help to regulate the reincarnation cycle and the flow of souls. He mostly does this by directing the dead towards their destination. Anything else that Mar does is a result of his abuse of this position, and as part of the repayment for what Mar did. He's actually more closely related to the demon itself than he would be to other beings of his sort. Other than that and two manga volumes I got from relatives, I know nothing about Death Note. XD I just have a Shinto-esque friend. :3 Oh, and...are Temrash and Breekan on the same ship as me?? Yay rant! ^____^ ))

Mar sits tiredly back in his seat, knowing that they're hardly in a position to take the thing on. It's definitely not one of mine. It appears to work alone, from what I can guess. Probably prowling for sustenance. There are a number of powerful people at that Bar right now.

The aching has long since subsided. He doubts he's in perfect fighting shape, but at least he won't be holding anyone else up should they come in direct contact with this Seran fellow. Their medicine is quite impressive, actually.

(Only Zoshonel is with Mar. Breekan and Temrash are with Gaz. Don't worry. If push comes to shove, my Feline will battle the thing. It can die, but if it does, its creator will just make a new body with the same personality and memories of the first. Make it stronger, too. For now, it's got an indestructable skeleton, and can regerate anything as long as the brain still exists. Which is encased in an indestructable skull. Unless this demon can get through somehow...)

Shal lets out a soft sigh and her face contorts into a confused expression. She swivels her chair toward Breekan just in time to see his reaction to the being that is granting the Bar it's patronage. She raises an eyebrow in an attempt to convey her interest in hearing more about what he thinks might have been the cause of his reaction.

Breekan frowns. "I guess the best way to put it is that it feels a bit like Oss feels when he's getting really heavy-duty. Except even then it's different. With Oss, it's like there's a very dense point sort of dragging everything towards it; like some of The Big Guy's scarier goons. This thing is like that, but it's a different 'flavor,' one I don't recognize and..." He looks into space. He bites his lip and slowly his pupils contract again, flickering at first before shrinking steadily. He doesn't collapse this time. "It's not really like Oss where there's just one guy who's drawing everything towards him. It's like a bunch of people, sort of... mushed together from all over."

His eyes return to normal. He sits down. He shakes his head.

"Let's just keep our eyes peeled."

Shal nods in concurrence. She unstraps herself, and approaches Breekan, she taps his back, and gives a questioning shrug, wondering if Keirdan will be safe around whatever it is.

Breekan nods. "There's a slim chance this thing'll be powerful enough to destroy the suit. Very slim. If that happens, Keirdan'll be stranded where he is now, without any way out." He frowns. "Whether that's better or worse than whatever this thing can do I'm not sure, but if it comes to a fight, we want to be able to get Keirdan out of there safely."

Khazrak saw the chance of great entertainment at the arrival of more Mortals, the sheer vitality of them drew it like an ant to honey, it paused in it advance, what did it want? Why it wanted sustenance and these were a particularly strong batch of Souls it had found. The Devourer of Souls would not leave until it had what it came for, then it might stay and turn this place into a Plague ridden Paradise that would well please Father Nurgle.

A spasm shook its thin, bony frame as it regarded the Andalite, the one with the blades.  It could sense something in this one, with a snort that dripped a bubbling slime out its nostrils, the Devourer dismissed the Mortal as inedible; at least until it had deliberated on exactly what that something was.

The Daemon saw movement from the side and turned its skull to regard another Andalite, this one a female morsel. It sniffed and flicked the air with its long, barbed tongue and mentally added that one to the edible list, but its taste wasn’t in the Flesh or Souls of Andalites, it had other tastes.

It spoke one word “Rrrrott” as it spoke a fetid, toxic miasma of a smoke-like substance emerged from its mouth and floated around it, heavy in the air. It breathed the cloud of rot in and savored the taste, the toxic substances working within it to begin breaking down its own Flesh and reform it anew.

The rot started with its lungs and spread throughout its body, causing the Demon to cough and spasm as it was slowly consumed from the inside, with a final croaking breath it collapsed bonelessly, the only movement was of rapid advanced stages of decay as its body rotted before the Mortals eyes.

OOC:
Okay, the way it is rotting is at an alarming rate, in few minutes nothing will be left but a large pile of seething, toxic slime.
React how you want, but it is not dead, and cannot be destroyed (easily) while this is happening, for all you guys know it just collapsed and rotted away.
