Breekan stretches and yawns. "Thank goodness that's all over. A drink sounds lovely." His eyebrows shoot up, and he looks over to Shal. "Oh yeah, do you think we should let Cap'n Hardbones out of his uh, playroom?"

[Chad32]

(One correction. The cat is four foot long, and three feet tall. It looks like a normal femile, except it can talk.)

Visser 21 ordered his bugfighters to withdraw, and began devising a way to avoid Visser 8's wrath.

"Too bad we didn't get that guy." Temrash said. "But i don't feel the need to clash against a fleet to do it."

The feline noticed two armored Humanoids took aim against the dying creature. The orb following her opened its sensors to take in the upcoming battle. The feline herself, sat down to observe with curious attention.

(What kind of lifesigns would that creture show, anyway? I may need to know so I can have my character's bot tell her.)

((Haha...well things kinda spiraled out of control  

The rebel crew's base just had to be self destructed because the Yeerk Empire was on its way to go pillage and blow stuff up.  Myitt's Cruiser and Gaz's Vagabond were in pursuit, along with some of Temrash's ships, to intercept Seran at a hold point the Empire had near the rebel base.  This was so the Empire could amass a fleet some ways away from the base itself.

Visser..um...17?...who is an Empire baddie was at that hold point and got fed up with waiting for Seran, sending his fleet on ahead to attack the base.

Meanwhile at the hold point Myitt, Gaz, Gaz's character Morgan and Temrash's ships came out of z-space just after Seran, attacking him and pretty much pissing him off, but Seran flew toward the rebel base to attack it and try and lead them with him.

They didn't follow him  

And the rebel base imploded on itself before the Empire could do anything to gain information about anything, the shockwave took a huge chunk out of the moon's surface and even damaged some of Visser 17's attacking ships.  Yay.

James/Reven (16 year old kid/Yeerk, the rebel leader and just so happens to be another sibling of Myitt and Corliss's) and his human friend Gerard (another rebel) were the last people in the evacuated rebel base, and they made a break for it from the base in two Skrit Na fighters.

Visser 21 (who is Temrash's friend and a good guy undercover?) tried to intercept the Skrit Na fighters but couldn't, Reven and Gerard boarded Myitt's Cruiser.

The Cruiser ship has Myitt, Kara and Zoshonel (and Reven and James now), and is going to meet up with the rebellion at an undisclosed spot the rebels chose as a contingency plan in case their base was ever discovered and destroyed.  I can have them offer Kara and Zoshonel a ship to take back to the bar so Terenia and Chad can rejoin the action, otherwise Myitt will be MIA while she helps the rebellion sort out their issues.

Corliss is on the Vagabond ship with Gaz, Fletcher, Shal, Breek, Keirdan and Temrash.  They're heading back to the bar.  

Gaz's character Morgan joined the fight to help the rebels and he might be following them to the bar or wherever.

The pestilent Daemon noted without alarm that the fox humanoid had drew a fire arm and pointing the weapon at it, Khazrak felt no fear and didn't even move to prevent the morsel from being hostile, it knew that its Immortal frame could easily stand up to the projectile's the weapon fired, it had been in existence long enough to know what could harm or 'kill' it.

The jaw of its skull opened with a sight creak as it turned its head to one side and regarded the pair with a hungry predatory gaze, although to the others it would merely be a disconcerting look from an eyeless skull attached to a tattered winged body.

The Devourer of Souls sized them up, its vision not only examining their Fleshling bodies but also their Souls, which were what it was interested in, for extending its own life and entertainment purposes.
A creaky wheezing voice drifted out of its mouth as its barbed tongue flicked out to taste the air.
"Hosstile?" A chunk of maggot riddled flesh slid off its left inner thigh and landed with a wet plop on the ground.

It was already falling apart even though it had recently Devoured the Souls of a large population, with a click of its jaw it expended some energy to Consume some of the stored Souls that were always kept in a disease riddled part of its mind.
Some of its flesh restored visibly and one of its wings cracked and shifted back into a more natural position on its back as the Consumed energies restored part of its shattered and beaten frame.

When the other Mortal also displayed hostility, the Devourer’s interest was perked, even more so when the green feline creature appeared, the main part of its attention however was on the armored morsel, even from this distance it could almost taste the vitality.

Khazrak was growing hungry, perhaps these Mortals could provide a meal and entertainment, a creak emerged from its jaw as it nodded to itself, a meal it needed and soon.
It coughed, hawked and spat out a lump of decaying flesh, which it scooped up and placed inside its jaws, chewing slowly. Not even its own decayed flesh provided it with much sustenance, it had to eat and it would do so now.

The Devourer of Souls took a few more staggered steps towards the Mortals, heedless of anything that might be able to harm it, it would have to be a powerful thing to be able to destroy the Devourer.

The creature is an anomaly. Life signs are absent, yet the creature still moves. The orb messaged the feline alone. The feline thought this over. Perhaps this unknown creature could bear study. It already knew about Humans and Andalites, so they were less interesting than this mobile bird corpse. It smelled bad, though the Feline had no fear of it. There was no need to fear much anything in the galaxy, given what she worked for.

Mar's slit-pupil eyes suddenly widen, as if an influx of light has appeared. Even so far away from the source....he's almost sure something is at the Bar. Something very dangerous. A Soul Devourer? What on Earth would it be doing here? I was almost sure that I blocked off most of the Gates before I entered. .....I must have let something slip...

Mar wanders towards the front of the ship towards the rest and states hurriedly, "There's a demon back at the Bar. A powerful demon. I know we're hardly in a position to get back there, but I thought you should all know. I assume your friends can take care of themselves?"

[Chad32]

"Jagill is heading back to the bar. I hope he and the others will be all right." Zoshonel said. "Myitt, I'd like to take off as soon as we reach our destination. Just in case."

[Breekan1]

As the Vagabond flies, Breekan's pupils contract to a needle-point very suddenly. He grabs his stomach and leans forward for a moment. He grits his teeth, blinks very rapidly, and burps, a bubble of drool exploding onto his chin. He wipes it off, takes a deep breath, and stands up, his eyes back to normal.

"Anyone else feel that?" He steadies himself on his chair. "There's something... big at the bar."

[Gaz]

"Woah," Gaz said, "what are you talkin about?"

Fletcher buzzed the comm from the engine room. "Gaz, we outta danger? Cuz we really need to give the shield a rest. It's been runnin full power for a while now. Once I get those modifications in then we can run it all we like, but since I didn't get the chance to..."

"All right!" Gaz said as she pressed a button. "There."

Gaz turned her attention back to Breekan. "You feelin all right? I don't want any mess on my helm. And what do you mean big?"
