((No worries Luke, and I think it's funny that before we were all getting confused about who's on what ship....who's on first? XD))
Corliss hops up the ladder to the upper manual weapons control, settling into the seat. "Aye aye, captain," he calls down, grinning. "Always wanted to say that."
---
"Hold on, guys," Myitt says. "Seran's ship is going to jump out soon, and we're coming with them, then nose-diving upwards. I think. Let's hope there's no dimensional engine backwash from them jumping out so close behind us." She smiles thinly, hands on the manual and holographic controls. "In other words, please buckle the hell up."

Gerard's autopiloted Skrit Na fighter cruises past the barrage of Imperial ships as they begin their attack on the base below.
"Yaaa-haaah!" he screeches, the ship automatically turning on its side to maneuver between the big right wing of a Blade Ship and the jagged engines of the Imperial Cruiser beneath it. "Jeez!" he exhales, breathless. "Autopilot, is this really the best route?"
"Autopilot engaged," the computer says unhelpfully.
"Jesus Christ I'm gonna die," the young man whispers, but so far the ships' attention seems to have been on the base far below.
Reven starts to pilot his ship around most of the Imperial fleet, watching on a remote screen as the attack on their base's few exterior buildings starts. The screen flickers, then disappears, replaced by an error screen.
"WARNING -- ONE MINUTE REMAINING," the self-destruct timer on Reven's personal computer reminds him, although he has left any real danger of self-destructing far behind him on their moon.
In front of him, however, lies a large and formidably armed fleet owned by the Yeerk Empire.
And the best this ship has for a weapon is a tractor beam.
