((Sorry Kel, he got distracted by Temrash before he heard your answer. He's a very "on a whim" type. I'm certain he heard the words, but they didn't register as of yet. It seems as though his convo is almost over, idk. You can have him wander off, I'll probably just have him continue the convo a bit later.))

The Director took the dark being's comment in and Elayne's response. He looked at Elayne and corrected her, "Actually, your decision to leave is still in your present. It's in his past, not yours. You can still decide to go back. I can take you back to Earth to a point after you left and rectify the mistakes made in his past. It seems you know less about the situation than I do.

"Is this one sad traumatized boy's life worth the pain, torture, and degradation caused by your need to run from your problems? Did you think that he is a product of a time anomaly that never should have happened, and he only exists to let you know that you should go back and right your wrongs? To give you a chance to face your fears and alleviate the pain and anguish of countless of Yeerks and humans alike? Perhaps if you go back, you do change the movement, and humans progress rather than regress because of it. Is this one incomplete life worth the degradation of the entire human race?”

Elayne turned to face the Director again, her eyes narrowing. She folded her arms across her chest and said, "You misunderstand what I'm saying. I already left Earth once. In the past. That much should be evident," she said, letting one hand stray from her irritated posture just long enough to gesture at their planetoid surroundings. "The decision to leave Earth in the first place has been made; that's all I was saying. Based on my current position, I have no desire to return to Earth now."

She shifted her weight, one hip jutting out, her eyes still narrow. "You're talking about Trey as if he doesn't matter. As if he's just a tool to guide me into some decision. I'm not so self-centered as to imagine this Bar exists for me. Trey is a person, just like me--and I think just like you, although from all your sniffing, hair-tugging, and name-calling, I'm tempted to classify you as an ass." She let out a huffy sigh then turned her gaze away. "Anyway, it's not the humans I'm worried about; it's the Yeerks."

The Director shrugged, "Well, I've been called worse. And from what I've heard, it seems that the fates of humans and Yeerks are merged in your time-line. If you allow the tyranny and barbaric nature of the humans to continue, the Yeerks become trapped and live out unfulfilled half-lives. Both species aren't allowed to evolve. If you do stop the atrocities you speak of, it could expand both species equally. If you truly are worried solely worried for the Yeerks, it sounds as though going back would benefit the Yeerks more than not."

He looked to Trey and said, "I don't mean to say you don't matter. One life can change worlds. You know that from experience it seems." He looked back and forth between the two, "Giving your life for the benefit of others is never easy, but it's often worth it."

The Director then looked at Elayne and fixed his gaze, "You never did answer my question. Is this one boy's life worth the pain, torture, and degradation of an entire species; possibly two?"

As Silver sat there and listened to the plans being made, she was absently rubbing her side where she had been wounded. She had left her cloak on the ship, so she only had her hair to almost hide what she was doing.

"Try not to mess with that, Silver." Temrash said when he noticed she was rubbing at her wound. "I can go to my ship and get some gel for it. It may be a little more high tech than what Asda has."

"Fletcher," said Morgan, "send the message to Cortex. Have him send the ship our way."

"Got it," Fletcher said and his fingers flew over the screen of the computer pad. "Done."

"Now we wait," said Gaz after a second. "I think I'll get another rum."

Morgan chuckled as Gaz got up and walked over to the bar. After a moment he reached to his neck and pulled out a chain that was hiding something underneath his shirt. He began to fidget with the item that was hanging off of it. It wasn't hard to guess what it was when one got a look at it. It was Morgan's wedding ring.

Parker sighed and sat back in his chair, making sure to keep most of his wieght distributed on the base, "Well, this is only familiar ground to you two. Although I've been trained to fight on any terrain, so whether we're here, back on that planet, or floating in space, I'm ready to take out anything in our way.

"What exactly will you need anyway? I'm going to need some sort of direction as to whether this is a action, take out the baddies and save the hostages, or bargain with the baddies and hope they hand over the hostages, or sneak aboard and steal the hostages while leaving the bad guys none-the-wiser?"

"Oh, thanks Temrash." she said and then pulled her hand away from her side and folded her hands in her lap. "Sure that would be great." she smiled and then turned to Parker as he spoke. "Either way, somehting will be done. they have my mother and I will not stop until I know she is safe."

Temrash went outside and to his ship, which hadn't been bothered since he left. Inside he had stored first aid kits for various controller species, and grabbed a bottle for Human skin. He brought it back and set it on the table for her.

"You can squeeze some gel out and rub it on, which will ease the irritation and help with healing. It should dry quickly."

Parker replied, "Oh no doubt about that. I'm just looking for some semblance of rules of engagement. Were it up to me, I'd go aboard, and detain everyone not in a cell."

She squeezed a little out and liftedup her vest a bit and placed it on her wound. Instantly the irritating feeling was gone. "Thanks." she said again then turned to Parker. "That works." she said. "But this time, we check the entire place, not just the holding cells. Some rooms might be used as holding cells."

Parker nodded, "That's exactly what I mean. A transport ship can't be too big. We go in and incapacitate anyone that's roaming around free, put them in some sort of holding, and release all those held captive." He leans forward and rests his arms on the table-top, "My real question, what force are using here; lethal, non, defense only? If you want it done quick and clean, I'd suggest letting me an' Tem go in first, wrangle the worst ones, and then you guys come in after and pick off the rest."

"Again though, it depends on what our rules of engagement are."

Silver nodded her understanding and placed the bottle in her pocket as she looked to her Father for the rules. She didn't care, really. She wanted to get in there, find her mother and the others and then leave the rest to drift out there. She was angry now.

"We will need to decide how to approach this before it happens. Don't want anyone getting angry for killing people if some of us decide on lethal force, or going too easy for our own good by holding back. You make good points...Park. I'm all for being in the front."

"Yeah, a wall of sheilding and easy-healing flesh would be safer up front. So what are our orders, sir?" Parker directed his question to Morgan. It was his wife, he should decide if he wants to chance the use of live ammo in the open.
