Danika sat over near Keirdan, and rubbed her head against his arm as a cat would. "A young creature such as yourself should not be confined to the indoors. I can take you outside, and keep you safe from whatever dangers the others think may be out there. You can ride on my back." She said. She was beginning to think she might be able to 'borrow' Keirdan for a while. Live, sentient, and willing test subjects could be hard to come by.

"I'm not trying to hold you down and make you conform to my ideals, Ardiss." Temrash said. "All I want is to help you become a constructive person. Be nice, and make friends. You could start any kind of life you want, at any place you want. But as long as there is an Empire that eliminates rebels, and Andalites that want to kill every member of our race, we need other people to help us. I know you'd probably like me to just go off and make Myitt give your ship back, then send you off with enough supplies for you and Christine to survive for a while. But would that really help in the long run?"

Asmodee bowed his head in embarassment when Oss asked him how it happened. "I was making for a repair facility to finish fixing my ship. I was contacted by the Yeerks who had hired me, and I told them what was going on. I told them that I was planning on following up on the other job before going back to see what would happen between Temrash and his new allies. They instructed me to stop at a Yeerk repair facility where, if I told them everything that needed fixing, that they would have everything set up and paid for."
"It was a trap. Of course they did make the repairs, but they ambushed me. I must have killed about ten or fifteen Hork-Bajir, but I couldn't escape the room I was in. Eventually they pinned me down, and put that Yeerk in my head. It took me and my ship straight back to this bar, and you know the rest. I knew they wouldn't be happy with me after what happened, but I didn't think they'd risk attacking one of my kind. I can tell you that my people won't be happy with that."
