((Good lawd, a guy can't take a day off can he? Oh and Tara, I truly lol'ed at the "Highlights" comment. I used to love those pictures where you found hidden shapes in a drawing or painting. :p))
*Ossanlin watches the proceedings quietly as Cor, Jagill, and Myitt speak with Ardiss. He raises an eyebrow at the "grass-eater" comment but says nothing knowing that a Yeerk so long under the influence of the Council would merely see a demon with a tail-blade lying with a perfectly straight face. He had said his piece, and any further comments would have no effect at all on the Yeerk. Ossanlin gives Myitt a warm smile for her comments about friendship, and extends the smile to Jagill as the Hork-Bajir defends his honor as well. Ossanlin does nothing more than to cross his arms and shake his head almost sadly as Ardiss spits venom at him as she is trained to do, accusing him of wanting to force her back into her pool, and declaiming that the war would not be over until the Andalites lie beaten on their homeworld under an Imperial banner. There were so many things he would like to say, but none would get through, none would seem more than a lie to this being.*
<Breekan, I hold no more love for the being responsible for me than you do for the one responsible for you. What I believe is that while one is ruthless, the other is purely evil, and though both are devious beyond our comprehension, their motives differ greatly. I believe I fight for the lesser evil, I merely hope I am right.>
*Ossanlin watches as Ardiss suddenly makes up her mind in a state of inebriation and disengages into the pool with Temrash and Myitt. He extends a thought so that all in the pool can hear. He cannot manage to keep all of the edge from his thought.* <You see, you're still quite alive Ardiss. Perhaps you'll learn one day that not all "grass-eaters" are alike. That some do not wallow in their own arrogance and see only demons when sentient beings are present. I am not an enemy unless you hold to the Council, I hope you'll see that in time.>
*He returns his attention to the human girl.* <I'm glad you are alright, and may I apologize for whichever of my comrades treated you so.> *Ossanlin doesn't mention the scar, and the apology sounds hollow to him, but he can't think of much else to say to an innocent being whom had been harmed by so many, including one of his own species.* <We will not harm you, nor will we harm Ardiss. If you do not wish her to return to you...we will not force you to accept her again. You're freedom is your own again, though we hope that you will listen to what we have to say. Especially to what Tara has to say, she knows at least a bit of what you're going through.> *Ossanlin smiles with his eyes, lowering his tail even further from its relaxed position to seem as non-threatening as possible.*
