Terenia has only a blank stare to offer Illim's explanation. She knows it means something important to Corliss, and she can see through Mike what he is probably talking about, but there are too many distractions for her to focus. The incessant heat coming off of her burning ship, thoughts of Efaen trying to sabatoge her own entrance into the rebellion...it was making her ears ring.
No, not ring. Beep. Glancing down at her belt she recognizes Corliss' communication device. How long has that been going off? she wonders, immediately followed by, What now?
"Give me a second," Terenia snaps at Illim, detaching the device and turning slightly away from the two men. Two men and one Yeerk, she reminds herself. Derrel was no longer Derrel.
"What?" Terenia growls into the communications device, after suppressing the button.
"That's true," Trey says, glancing up at the bar a bit nervously. "I guess this place is as good as any. No one seems to be after me, although there have been enough fights since I've gotten here that I can't help but worry a bit." He shrugs. "I don't have anything better to do, or anywhere better to be, though. Maybe I should just try to find some stuff out about the Yeerks that are here. I mean, they're from the past, right? Maybe I can learn something from them about what being a Yeerk means. Meant. Or something..."
