Illim raises an eyebrow, torn between being irritated and amused.
Finally, he says, "Well, if this is the big one, than I guess it deserves some big names. I'll give you the frequencies, but I want something first."
His hard tone becomes a shred more desperate. "You must have some remote assignments or something. I've only been out of the Peace Movement for two days, and already the inactivity is killing me. I get why I can't help you directly, and I agree it's a problem. But I want some direction here."
He leans back and folds his arms across his chest. "This is win-win for you, Myitt. Come on."
Tora frowns at Myitt. <How can he hope to help when no one wants him? He has ruined his chances with the Peace Movement and the Empire, both,> she says in thought-speak so as not to interrupt their conversation.
"I don't know," Elayne sighs. "It's just... well, I know this is all transient. Fleeting. If you left, that'd be it for us." She smirks. "Seems like there's always a catch, doesn't it? You find someone you like... but."
