I shook my head in amazement.

"Unbelievable. What happens to only 1/100,000,000,000 wearers happened to you in the first minute you had it on..."

I was stunned beyond belief. But he had to be told.

I took the PR/E from his collar, "Bear. Your form is going to be Cheetah forever. This PR/E has suffered what is known as a Basal Structural Miscalculation error. For all intents and purposes, the PR/E 'forgot' what your original form was, and fused your physical structure into a Cheetah. Your DNA still reads as Terran Canine. Your thoughts betray a sentient terran. But your form will always be Cheetah. The only possible way to return to your original form permanently is to suffer another BSM error...and that error cannot be purposefully triggered. I am...I am very sorry."

Onyx snapped back into reality as he seemed to have dozed off. He woke up sitting on the floor with his back against the wall. He simply shook his head and then spoke, {Hmph, dozed off.... I wonder if it really takes this long to get a drink of salt water.} He was slightly puzzled trying to determine how much time has passed. But simply dismissed it and tried to get reacquainted with his surroundings.

Silver thought about it. Fun... He asked if the Forest was spinning. "No but I don't think I can habdle another mental attack today.... We need to get back before its too dark." She said collapaing her battle staff and slipping it back into her boot.

Morgan nodded, then regretted doing so. His head hadn't quite recovered from the blow yet. He tried to take a step forward, but was still a bit wobbly. Morgan found it upsetting that he was so vulnerable at that moment.

He cursed a little as his attempts at walking on his own were foiled.

I walked over to the minotaur.

"Sir, I believe I must inform you again, that just as I did a minute ago, the original wounds inflicted upon Artemis came from me."

I have been on multiple real missions, and failed them all.> Claxter said. <This was the first time I really did something good in a life or death situation. I know you don't care for Andalites, and my people can be quite prideful. However I'd like to enjoy this moment. I'll try not to annoy anyone, though. For once since I got out of basic training, I didn't run and I didn't screw things up.>

He walked over to the Helmacron ship. <Hey mighty Helmacrons. You still there? I can carry your ship to the bar proper if you'd like.> He didn't actually see them, but assumed they were still in or around the ship.

The Andalite walked over on his swelled up legs.

<Hey mighty Helmacrons. You still there? I can carry your ship to the bar proper if you'd like.>

What!? This lowly thing was going to carry my ship to the bar!?

<If you would be so kind. Everyone, BACK INSIDE!> I agreed.

The fact that Artemis did not dislike him because of what he did comforted Vogefac. Nevertheless, he did fail her, and she never did specifically say she was his friend. So he still felt disappointed.

He walked back to John. "How are you feeling?"

"A little weak, but actually quite good." <I don't mind your being happy, but his name is John not 'That Human.'>

<Not John. That Human woman. I think it was mostly the Helmacrons that saved John.> Claxter said after picking up the Helmacron ship. <I don't know her name. Or at least I don't remember if she told me already.>

<Still, there are better terms to use than 'that human.' Sorry I got mad though, I'm trying not to get mad about getting stuck in cheetah form.> Bear stated the last sentence privately to Claxter. He didn't wish to make Vogefac feel bad.
"Can someone help up and into the Bar or my ship?" John didn't want to be outside in the dark when that vampire was around.

I don't mean to be offensive, but I certainly don't mind being called an Andalite.> <<I'm sorry that you got stuck. vogefac said it's extremely hard to fix, but in the meantime we'll try to make sure your current body heals well.>>

"Her name is Artemis," I told Claxter, quoting her, "But her friends call her Silver. And Bear, I am very sorry. If I had any idea that PR/E was malfunctioning, I would have ripped it off myself."
