I am rereading the series. Ok, tbh first time in having a chance to read the WHOLE series... Was impossible to get ahold of all the books when I was younger.
What is really bothering me, no.. ticking me off, is the comments and thoyghts on how horses are just these dumb beings. No, over 95% of the horses I have been around have been quite intelligent. Like the whole undoing the stall latch... Some horses need special locks because they are Houdini. My favorite gelding has gates figured out and if they aren't latched right he will open them just to get to the grass in the lawn.
Are there any animal trait portrayals that just bother you to the point the bokks is much less enjoyable?
