Did the books get taken down?
« on: March 19, 2020, 05:32:32 AM »
Hi,

My name is Stephanie and I’m a huge Animorphs fan from The Netherlands. I was re-reading the Everworld series to make the corona virus lockdown in my country a little more enjoyable but now all the books are gone. Just a 404 error remains... can someone help me?

Lots of love,
Stephanie

Ebooks Page Not Loading

Anyone else having issues loading the ebooks pages? I can't seem to access any of the books to download. I tried yesterday, and the page loaded, but my net kept dropping and I was unable to download any of the books. So I try again today and the page is just blank and white.

Hi!

So a few days ago Nerdist posted an article about how you can read all of the Animorph books for free online. They posted this link animorphsforum.com/ebooks so I started to read one of the books that I think I never got to read when I was a kid. I tried to click the link again today and it went to blank page. What's going on? Did you have to take them down? Is there a problem with the site? Please bring them back.

I was going to get the last few books I lacked reading to finish the series only to find all of them gone!

Hi! Unfortunately, yes. Scholastic wrote demanding they be removed.

Hi! Unfortunately, yes. Scholastic wrote demanding they be removed.

That's so unfortunate. K.A. Applegate encouraged and approved of them being readily available.. Leave it to Scholastic to ruin things again.

I still have the links to the books before they got taken down and have still been able to read them. I’ll leave the link below. If you edit the number in the link you can read all the books in the main series. You can't read the Megamorph books and other books like The Animorph Chronicles.

https://files.animorphsfanforum.com/ebooks/pdf/01.pdf

(edit to clarify I don't know how to access companion books from this link. I'm sorry for the confusion.)

I'd place the blame more on this unwanted publicity, which forced Scholastic to take action.

I read the comment area. Ouch.

Lot of ****s. We originally started to release the electronic versions because not everyone in the world had access to all the Animorph books. And it was before kindle, and the other various forms of eReaders.

What a bunch of DBs

I had mistyped in my original post. I don't know how to access the companion books from the link. I'm sorry for the confusion and the delay of my reply.
