Ha, it took me a minute to figure out the joke, but nice one!
I used to be V, before that I was Tobiasfan21. Then I disappeared for several months after being kidnapped by the Twilight series. Don't make me talk about it, it was horrible. Now, I'm V2113.

I am currently a Heroes fan who enjoys writing more than anything in the world.

I'm liking it so far.  It certainly has a different tone than mine does.

That's a good thing, though. Mine has more humor, and yours has more drama, if I'm not mistaken. Though the last chapter of mine was pretty dramatic.

I estimate three of four chapters before I'm done.

chapter Seven

The first meeting after the breakup was awkward. Rachel didn't look at, or talk to, Tobias unless she had to, and it went that way all through the mission. She was nothing more than formal with him when they saw each other, and the only time they did was during missions. she didn't come visit him anymore, or ask him to come to the mall with her. she kept her window locked, and the shades drawn, every time he tried to come to her room as a hawk.

As depressed as he was through all of this, it helped seeing the eggs hatch. He watched his children grow, and become fat greedy little chicks. Ax watched over them too, and Cassie came by a few times to check them out. The female took the role of feeding the babies, so less stress was on Tobias. He did feed them from time to time, though. Months passed, and the chicks eventually flew from the nest. After they were gone, Tobais became sad again. He really wasn't able to do much with the female, especially compared to the things he could have done with Rachel.

A new thought came to him, though, that could possibly solve his problem. During a mission, they had to continually move the blue box to keep it from Visser Three. At one point, a buffalo came into contact with it and acquired Chapman. As weird as that was, it gave him an excellent idea. He just needed some DNA samples, and temporary possession of the box. On his days off, he looked around for girls that looked good. He found two girls, and took hair samples from garbage cans in their yards. They would be the DNA samples used for what Ax called the frolis maneuver.

Getting the box was fairly short and easy. He took a plastic bag and put the stuff inside, then flew to the meadow. He knew he needed help with what he wanted to do, so he asked Ax.

<Please clarify for me. You want to try to grant the female hawk morphing abilities, and get her to morph DNA from two Human females?>

<Yeah. If we can teach her to be Human, then she would be more like me. We could have a good relationship together, like the one I would have had with Rachel.>

<I suppose it is possible. I probably wouldn't get into any more trouble with my people for allowing it than I will be for allowing all the other stuff I've done. Giving information freely, allowing Human possession of Andalite technology, and so forth.>

<Thanks Ax.>

since she was already trained, it wasn't too difficult for Ax to get her to stand on the box. He also had her hold the hair, and got her to morph by showing her Tobias morphing repeatedly. Tobias decided to name her Cindy, since the other girl's names were Casey and Linda. A melding of two names to fit a melding of DNA. After that, they started teaching her how to talk, and act, Human. They also taught her to wear clothes in Human morph, and she learned to assimilate a morphing suit into her Human morph. After several weeks, it was finally time to test her out in public.

They went to the park, the mall, and other places. She called Tobias her lifemate a lot, and Ax her friend. One day they were invited by Jake to eat at the foodcourt. After talking it over a lot, they decided to bring Cindy with them. Tobias was nervous about it, but he wanted them to know about it. He felt they should know, even though he hadn't consulted them before doing it.

Whoa, that last part there is definitely not Cassie-approved. xDD

This story is going a lot faster than musicman's...you covered many months in one chapter, where his has one short scene to a chapter.  Not to say that one way is better than the other, just an observation.

Quite an interesting turn in the plot there...

to be honest, I'm quite interested in the process of how they actually got the hawk to act and to think as human, as they aren't really considered sentient beings... Does that mean she still retains the human mental capacity even after she demorphs? The chapter's quite a leap from the storyline, however. It intrigues me ^^ keep it up!

That's a good point.  I mean, the buffa-human was like, drooling and crawling around, wasn't he?

I think so...Though I'm sure the author [of this fanfic] will come up with an explanation.

They didn't train the Buffa-human like they did Cindy. It makes perfect sense. To me anyway, although I prefered the Tobias-Rachel relationship...

And that will be the explanation that the author uses, most likely.

Very... um... interesting.  Definitely not what I would've expected to happen.  But let's see where this goes.

To those who think my story is going fast, I'll tell you now that this is how I write. For better or worse, I suppose. The hawk-Human goes smoother because she's already been trained, and maybe I should have gone into more details about it for those who are interested. Partly, I was just trying to put something out before I left for a few days, and didn't have internet access. Maybe I'll drop info in through conversations and such.

Don't get too diheartened about Tobias and Cindy being together. I don't want to reveal spoilers, but don't let that put you off of the rest of the story.

Yeah, but I was just wondering if a hawk actually has the mental capacity to act like a normal human, trained or not.

She is if she morphs a Human, and uses that. The Buffa-Human learned speech quickly. Given some time, I think it's within the realm of the possible. especially in a world where a slug can enter the cranial cavity through the ear canal and control a host's actions.
