In the Sickness, Cassie tells Erik that if she doesn't return, then he should let her die. He shouldn't keep her parents thinking she's still alive by posing as her.
What would you choose? If you went on life risking missions, and had an android frined who could convincingly pose as you, would you tell him to only do it while you're alive? Or would you ask him to let your parents think you were still alive, if you got killed.
One problem that comes to mind, is marriage and having kids. I assume that normally the androids don't marry Humans, because they can't get pregnant or spread their seeds. It actually brings up the question of how well they can convince people they're Human, in modern days.
But that's not the question at hand. Would you let your parents go on believing you're still alive with the help of your android friend? Or would you let them find out that you aren't around anymore?
I would probably let Erik go on posing as me. It would cause less pain, as long as no one figured out the truth.
