but there had to be andalites involved in the manufactoring of all the machines that made life convinient for them, were they doin that for totally free? just a barter system doesnt really make sense :-\

well, i just think of it as a herd mentality (andalites did come from creatures that came from herd animals). you do something for the herd, it will supply you. a very hardline social contract. you do your part and we'll make sure your taken care of.

I didn't say anything about how they might purchase other things, I was just pointing out that they are more self-reliant than we are, since they don't have to buy food, water, etc.

Of course, it's more likely that the Andalite games would be more like the games from the Ellimist's homeworld, hmm [interaction-wise]?  After all, they do have a slight technological advantage over us.

Doesn't mean they don't like to watch tiny people set themselves on fire.  :P

I would see Andalite games more like VR sims.
Imagine being IN the soldiers boots in Call of Duty 4 when the nuke goes off and hanging onto the chopper for dear life
Or aiming through the Fat Man sight and launching a mini-nuke at a bunch of Super Mutants.

ya, right before they went crispy. i never really understood why the yeerks decided to use the scoop for target pratice instead of just invading the place. get more andalite tech and hosts bodies to boot. but that's the reason why you don't install crazied poltical officers as military officers.

a bit off topic but amoung the inter-speices love (andalite-hork banjir, andalite human, etc), i found it werid that K.A. stopped at the brink of having a male (or female) becoming norlith of another species and oppisite gender.

good thing she did, god only knows how many kids would have warped childhoods if THAT happen.
