I know, I know.  :-\ We saw the tiger a few minutes later, too! He was asleep!

Not really embarrasing, but kind of funny; I got a friend request from a girl on facebook named Mari Joy Visser! Perhaps the enemy in morph?  ;)
Meh.

"Sharing" (Partage, in French) tried to stop me again few days ago in the street... They probably wanted me to join them ;)

I was at a stop light, and I saw a hawk flying in a circle, so I was watching... and then some smaller birds started mobbing the hawk...

I once saw an osprey and a red-tailed hawk absolutely battling each other and thought "oooh, Marco crossed the line"...

I had dropped some things that I shouldn't have dropped in the trash cans, and was rather cranky, so when I was getting mad, someone asked me what was wrong. I said, "I HATE TRASH CANS!"

That's great!  :D

I went on an hour long walk down the street with three of my little siblings. (Two in a double-stroller, one in a baby-carrier on my back.) I kept them entertained by telling them all the stuff I learned about birds from Animorphs. "Did you know that a Bald Eagle can see through water? Did you know that crows gang up on bigger birds sometimes? Did you know that Golden Eagles are mean?" It was kinda funny to me. They love the bird study lesson.

The Philadelphia Zoo came to Temple for Environmental Awareness day to discuss birds flying into windows and dying.  They brought with them a red tailed hawk, osprey, and peregrine falcon.  I was happily shocked and started going crazy over these birds and my friends looked at me like I was crazy.  I had to explain to them about Animorphs and then they thought I was even crazier.

Sadly no.

I had another embarrassing Animorphs moment today.  I was at Burger King with my family and they were having a contest to win an xbox.  The soda cup I got had a picture of an xbox with the phrase "You be the Controller" on it.  When my brother read it aloud, I replied that there was no way in hell I would ever be a Controller.  He just gave me a weird look and told me to shut up.

lol ^^
I also tell about Animorphs and RAF to my friends at univ', but they don't really understand and make fun of me. Anyway, I don't really care, and when I come back home at evening, I don't even remember what I said and what they said, so I never write here what happened. But be sure that I also have experiences like that ^^

This is not embarrassing, just a fun encounter...

I found out that my Norwegian textbook from school had a translated chapter from Animorphs in it!  :o
It was chapter 1 from Marco's first book, so not much from the actual plot there.
