My older cousin used to come visit my family during fishing season.  When he was about 19 and I was 11, I told him about Animorphs.  He thought it was kind of dumb, and looking back I suddenly figured it out.

I told him about a crazy war story and showed him the book I had been currently reading.  The Departure.  A book with a girl turning into a butterfly on the cover doesn't exactly say "Look!  Battle time!"

I also used to pretend I was a member of the Animorphs.  Oh, and imagined riding Ax like a horse.  Humiliating for Ax, incredibly awesome for me.

Hah! If it's any comfort, I once had an excellent and weird dream of riding Ax through town, stealing candy from a baby LITERALLY, and setting Santa's workshop on fire, while laughing maniacally.
The universe is, instant by instant, re-created anew. There is, in truth, no Past, only a memory of the Past. Blink your eyes, and the world you see next did not exist when you closed them. The only appropriate state of the mind is surprise. The only appropriate state of the heart is joy. The sky you see now, you have never seen before. The perfect moment is now. Be glad of it.

More then once, I have looked behind me, in case there was a Hork-bajir following me.

That.  Is amazing.  XD

I asked my friend who used to work at McDonald's if she'd ever had anyone ask her for a happy meal with extra happy, and she was like "yeah, all the time, it's annoying as hell".  I was all shocked until I realized...these people were probably potheads.   ::)

My two most random Animorphs experiences were when:
A) I was working at McDonalds (yeah, I know. Unfortunately, no enterances in either the fridge or the freezer) and someone asked me if they could order a Happy Meal. I swear the first thing that popped into my head was "Only if you order it with extra happy." I was kinda glad I didn't say that...Though I did meet two of my very good friends through Animorphs.

B) I was driving home when suddenly this hawk swoops out of nowhere and scoops up some roadkill. As I'm slamming on my breaks so as not to hit it, I was yelling, "OMG, TOBIAS!!!"
Not exactly a shining moment for me.

Though I can honestly say my friend from McDonalds and I have not walked into there and asked for a Happy Meal with Extra Happy. Though it is tempting... ;D

I know, right, if they were asking her doesn't that make her a Controller?  So she can press the button that lets them in?  x3

In sixth grade art class we all had to make these cheesy papier mache models of people, so I made mine of Rachel in spandex frozen in this running stance (still have it around here somewhere, heheh).  One of my (non-Animorphs-reading) friends in the class, who had blonde hair, looked over and saw that I was making a model of a girl with blonde hair, and she was all like "hey, is that me?"  And I just snickered.  "Nope, it's Animorphs."  "Figures."

I dunno, some of their toys suck.

when I was younger, I used to ask the cat if he was someone in morph, or I'd try and 'acquire' him...never did turn into him.

I'm currently under the impression that JCPenny's is under Yeerk control. I was filling out an ap today and one of the questions had an answer that read:
I want to be a part of something bigger
I almost died. And nearly clicked it, just because.

This has happened quite a few times to me.  Bugs just seem to be a bit more interested in me every now and then...
