"I always considered myself a loner. I mean, not like a poor-me, Byron-esque, I-should-have-broughta-swimming-buddy loner. I mean the sort of person who doesn’t feel too upset about the prospect of a weekend spent seeing no one, and reading good books on the couch. It wasn’t like I was a people hater or anything. I enjoyed activities and the company of friends. But they were a side dish. I always thought I would also be happy without them."

I onced tried to swat three flies, and ended up hitting two (not bad, huh?). What amazed me was that the third fly came back to "nurse" the two other Flies.

I suddenly thought: "WTFish, I killed Jake and Rachel, and Cassie is coming to make those two demorph!"

LOL. Too bad, The ants took "Jake" and "Rachel away to their doom."
I'm just a writer, and my main goal was always to entertain. But I've never let Animorphs turn into just another painless video game version of war, and I wasn't going to do it at the end. I've spent 60 books telling a strange, fanciful war story, sometimes very seriously, sometimes more tongue-in-cheek. I've written a lot of action and a lot of humor and a lot of sheer nonsense. But I have also, again and again, challenged readers to think about what they were reading. To th

Haha, I'm guilty of that for sure. I used to "morph" in the backyard with my friend Daniel. I dont even think he read the books though, lol

That's hilarious. ;D

Too bad I don't really have any embarassing Animorphs encounters, I notice some of my friends LOVE it, though, whenever I bring it up.

I don't really talk about it to my friends 'cause I'm afraid they won't know what I'm talking about :(. There are a few guys I know, though, who were bigger fans and actually tried to win some contest to get on the show!

Me and my two friends used to play Animorphs in my backyard when we were like 8 and we'd always ended up getting killed(Like the time we were pretending to be in lizard morph and snuck around the Yeerk pool, my friend's basement, and got killed by Visser Three, my friend's dog).....God I miss being a kid.

*sigh* Same here.

As for embarassing moments. Just today I went to a store and it was really hot outside. When I was walking across the parking lot I said: "I bet I could catch some awesome thermals off this blacktop."

And yes, I've tried to acquire and morph animals.

Also, I'm always making obscure Animorphs references.

To this day I always check the mirrors in the dressing rooms at clothing stores, just in case one of them leads to a Yeerk Pool.

I'm not sure what I'd do if one of them ever actually opened...

ROFL! You can never trust a GAP store again....;)

I remember playing another game with a jump-rope where the person would spin around holding it so it'd shoot around the ground and you'd have to jump up to avoid getting hit with it--we pretended it was an andalite tail with blade! :p

Good times....:D

And then Buffy staked Edward. The End

Thats awesome. Im not so sure whether it would have tripped me out or completely made my day. Most likely that itself would have provided the extra happy for my happy meal though.

I still do at 16.

And I've never gotten a response besides either a blank stare or a laugh.

Yes. I sometimes eat Happy Meals.
