Wow, nice welcomes from everyone! :)

As far as gaming goes... Growing up I was mainly a Playstation girl, so I'm a big Final Fantasy fan. But don't talk to me about 13 because at the moment I have no access to a PS3 or 360. :( I do have Pokemon Diamond, though, and I've played SSBB (Meta Knight is pretty awesome btw). I also like Halo, Assassin's Creed (played AC2 on my brother's 360 and I've been missing it like crazy ever since), and Silent Hill.

On the anime/manga front, I've been keeping up with Skip Beat!, Kimi ni Todoke, Genbu Kaiden, Saiyuki, Wild Adapter, xxxHolic, and Until Death Do Us Part. Some other long-time favorites include: X/1999 (when is CLAMP ever going to finish this, seriously), Gundam Wing (hurray, gateway anime drug), Code Geass (I will totally admit that I can't watch the ending without crying), and Prince of Tennis (...I don't know what to say for this one). Numerous others, too, but those are probably my basics. I haven't read Nodame Cantabile, though it's been on my to-read list for a while.

Music-wise, my #1 Japanese band is L'Arc~en~Ciel. I also like UVERworld and Bump of Chicken. Some Janne Da Arc and Acid Black Cherry, too. Lately, though, I've been more into Kpop--groups like Epik High, TVXQ, and Big Bang. I highly, highly recommend Epik High:

Seriously, they are awesome.

*_* So cool!! Another girl who likes Silent Hill!! I'm also a Silent Hill girl! And a PSX/PS2 girl! And a FF girl! lol
For Nodame Cantabile, I haven't read the manga nor seen the anime yet, but I can tell you the drama is just awesome! Everybody should watch it ^^
My Japanese favorite bands are Buck Tick, Orange Range and Porno Graffitti. I also like the bands like Dir en Grey... I haven't listen so much L'arc en ciel yet, but if I remember well it's nice too ^^ Oh, and Kanon Wakeshima who is just beginning but her music is sweet:

Good song you added too ^^

:D Silent Hill is awesome! I haven't played Shattered Memories yet, and I've only played a little bit of 5. The combat system in 5 destroyed me. :( I really enjoy the others in the series, though.

Ooh, the Nodame Cantabile drama stars, um, what's-his-name... Tamaki Hiroshi! I adored him in Love Shuffle.

Creepy song, but cool. Vampire Knight, huh? I read some of the manga a long time ago, but it didn't really grab me. I remember liking Kaname, though.

You liked Kaname?!  :o lol My favorites are Zero and Idol.

I haven't played Shattered Memories ('coz it's new in France, and I try to not spend money...), nor SH 5 ('coz I don't have any Xbox360 yet, for the same reasons), nor Origins ('coz I just don't play a lot on PS2 since I bought it...). But I've finished all the other ones. I make the collection of survival horror games ^^ (if I have the console who go with... so on PSX/PS2 and Game Cube for now, later on Xbox/Xbox360 too). We have a thread for the horror games: http://animorphsforum.com/forum/index.php/topic,3224.0.html

If you like the vampires, we have a thread for them ^^ So even if you didn't like so much Vampire Knight, maybe you liked other vampires? Here it is: http://animorphsforum.com/forum/index.php/topic,4153.0.html

You can begin a thread for the Japanese music, if you want ^^ even if not so many RAFians listen to this kind of music, I'm sure some people would enjoy it.

Haha, I read it years ago, though, so the story wasn't very far along. Maybe if I reread it now I'd change my mind.

I only got to play 5 once when visiting a friend. I got stuck at a boss because my health was really low and I had no healing items. :( Origins was fun, though. I think my favorite has to be 4 since it was the first one I played.

Thanks for the links! I'll check those out.

lol I was thinking of starting a thread to introduce more people to Epik High, actually. I feel like they're accessible to people who don't normally listen to Asian music, but that could just be my bias speaking.

Strange that you prefer the 4! The 1st is the best!  ;D Well, I did them in order ^^
In the first, I also had issues with the health. Twice I had no healing items, no bullet, and had to go thought streets with monsters (the second time there were a lot of monsters >_<)... It was crazy! lol

Yay, another Silent Hill fan! I have: Silent Hill: 0rigins (PS2), an emulated SH1 for the PC (which friggin' crashed :(), SH2 (PS2), SH3 (PS2), SH:H (PS3), and SH:SM (PS2)(haven't played it yet). I just need 4! But I've beaten it before. My SH:H is a super mega glitch-fest on the Scarlet boss though. Can't beat it 'cause it's screwed up. I fail at 0rigins. No health, not much ammo and I hate that you can't switch to 3D movement! I love SH3. It's my favorite. It also has the best unlockables in my opinion (beam saber, hell yeah!). It was also the first one I ever played. But I could talk about Silent Hill all day so I'll shut up now.

By the way, I'm VisserZer0. Nice to meet you, rebelxluck and welcome to RAF! If you ever get a PS3, feel free to add me on PSN. Name is VisserZer0 there too.

Except that you've played a wide expanse of survival horror while I, however, have really only played SH and RE games. I'll make sure to post (mostly spoiler free) about Shattered Memories when I play it in 1 1/2 weeks! Though I still really want to play Fatal Frame. Sadly, though, I think Borderlands is going to succeed in zapping away the majority of my free time.

Sadly, I suffer from lack-of-money-and/or-xbox syndrome.

So sad... If you didn't have this Xbox syndrome, at least you could play the games the :pirate: way...

...unless you know of an Xbox emulator that I could use to play Fatal Frame. They're impossible to find and eBay's tricky.
