Does anybody know how those "predictive-text AI" things work?
« on: October 08, 2018, 09:43:37 PM »
I don't know if anybody else has seen them, but it's the "I fed an AI a hundred episodes of Seinfeld/all the Harry Potter books/whatever other kind of scripts or books or whatever and then this is what it wrote!" thing.

I've been absolutely DYING to see an Animorphs one of those.  Does anybody know how to feed it the text?  Quaf, I know you have all the Animorphs books' text stored that you do your fancy graphs on.  Here's the app: http://botnik.org/apps/writer/.

The HP ones are hilarious

Upload a .txt file of animorphs and then with the app you linked you have to manually write out a scene using to the predictive text. lol if only this technology was available years ago maybe books 25-52 would of been better XD

I'll try put in the first 10 books and  type out a few paragraphs - and post here later

Edit: ok this is so much fun

If anyone wants to have a go: click here
then use the keyboard to make sentences. Manually enter punctuation such as , . ! ? and paragraph breaks, but the "" and <> come up on their own. Ignore any numbers I didn't get rid of page numbers.

I can't stop chuckling at "He was neutered"
