I was in the car this morning, and "Ironic" came on the radio. The only reason that song's worth listening to, for me, is because it reminds me of Marco. XD
But yeah. What else makes you think of Animorphs?
-
Um, pretty much everything falls in this category for me.
Any animal, for one thing. I'm constantly speculating 'what if an Animorph morphed one of my cats?' And of course, any hawk I see immediately makes me think of Tobias.
Let's see, what else . . .
Mm-bop, Stuckey's, oatmeal, Area 51, UFOs, California, The Gap, Trafalgar, Star Trek, McDonalds, Goodwill, zoos, Red Baron, and, of course, anybody named Jake, Rachel, Tobias, Cassie, Marco, David, or Philip.
-
how does mm-bop (whatever it is) or Red Baron remind you of animorphs?
-
Red Baron - Jake calls Tobias that in #33. Mm-bop... I can't remember. XD
Although Red Baron always makes me feel conflicted. On the one hand, I always think of Snoopy's "Curse you Red Baron!" and then I think of Tobias... Conflicting fandom loyalties. :'(
-
Mm-bop... I can't remember. XD
Cassie suggests that they sing Mm-bop when they're inducting David into the Animorphs because she can't remember the words to the national anthem. ::)
-

:rofl2:
-
For some strange reason I'll explain how things work, like I'm explaining it to a mystified Ax or something. But yeah, the names, their battle morphs, red-tailed hawks.....that other book where slug-like creatures take over our brains, written by a Mrs. Meyer. >:(
-
i can't believe how many things make me think of Animorphs lol. Like i never thought that a series i read a kid would stick with me so much lol
-
I can't pass a Cinnabon without picturing Ax having a hypoglycemic seizure with the paramedics.
-
Whenever I see that tv series Ax-men listed on the TV Guide Channel, I always think of Ax. Also a few weeks ago my professor brought his golden retriever to class, and the dog's name is Jake.
-

things as minor as that reminds you of animorphs? that is some addiction...
-
Most definitely a hawk, or any bird of prey that reminds me of a hawk, and anyone with the names of the main characters. Also, groups of flies or ****roaches remind me of Animorphs.
-
Cheese, the word vice, the surname chapmen, the name erek, space, aleins, the word jerk, the names Tobais, Jake, Marco, and Cassie, the word morph, and the words "and a light".
-

Yeah, I believe I could accurately call myself 'obsessed.' ::)
Cheese, the word vice, the surname chapmen, the name erek, space, aleins, the word jerk, the names Tobais, Jake, Marco, and Cassie, the word morph, and the words "and a light".
Hehe, you forgot the word "yanked." ;D
-
the word 'chi' (sounding like chee).
cinnamon buns. instant maple and ginger oatmeal.
thermal. morph. centaur. salad shooter. slug.
also, most of the animals that they morphed (like red tailed hawk, siberian tiger etc.) fit into this well.
-
Hehe, you forgot the word "yanked." ;D
YES!!! For a month I laughed about that! Yanked FTW!!!
Also, yeah, it might be really weird, but the song Wannabe by the Spice Girls never fails to remind me of Animorphs...
My sister had this keyboard thing that had that song... like a dorky, cheesier version of it... And I thought it was cool... (had never even heard of the SG, and it did sound cool...)
-
My niece Rachel, just because of the name. Yes, Rachel has been reincarnated as my niece. Aren't you all so jealous!? Now why she reincarnated into a short bbrown haird chunky girl, I don't know...
-
The name Toby, I hear that more often than Tobias. The other respective names.
Centaurs, Cinnabon, hawks, any kind of slug, Planet Hollywood, white lab/snake-food mice, when explaining thermals to people (a surprising number of people have no idea what they are).
-
when explaining thermals to people (a surprising number of people have no idea what they are).
A sad, sad fact if you ask me. O.o How do they think birds fly without flapping? :P
-
That's what they ask me. I say thermals, the go 0.o, and I explain.
-
I said cheese because look'
cheese
-
Many animals, zoos particularly, slugs... many other things... My friends think I'm insane and have no life outside Animorphs ^^'
And something else:
Worms, particularly when worms are in fruits or people, removed from something... It always makes me remember Remnants. Very strongly. I see Violet with the worm in her hand...
-
Creepy-like :)
-
Hm... Any discussion on courage. I was talking about one of the characters for my NaNo today, and someone said something like "Man, she's really fearless, isn't she?", and then I totally quoted Rachel's "Being brave isn't about not being afraid. It's about being scared to death, and still not giving in."
Which then made me realize that the protagonist of my NaNo is really a lot like Rachel.
-
Any open field/construction site/abandoned area. I always think that it would be a great place for a Bug Fighter or Andalite Fighter to crash land, or a great feeding place for Ax/Visser Three. Then I have to resist the urge to stake it out until one of the aforementioned events happens. :-\ I think I'd be there awhile.
-
Cinnabon since I can't pass one without thinking of Ax staring at the place drooling. Hawks of any kind, Arcades, The Skylight dome at the mall in the town i live in. Chapman University XD and of course anyone with an Animorphs related name.
-
Almost everything on Earth reminds me of Animorphs. Sometimes I call my cat Minx a yeerk and i dont even know why! Yesterday during a parade i looked a a certain star and said "Merry Christmas Ax" now that i think of it, it kinda sounds stupid, yet i cant help myself. I speak animorph tounge so much, its hard for ANYONE to really understand me.
-
A lot of things. It's almost sad.
Any bird of prey, especially that hawk sound. Basically any animal they morphed, McDonald's, people with the respective names, groups of 5-6 animals together, the topic of aliens, the topics of slavery/morality under pressure/etc... The list goes on.
Also, when I look at the sky and wish I could fly, usually I'll also think, "Damn. If only I could morph."
Thinking about Animorphs is a lot like the game for me. It's that annoyingly ingrained into my thoughts, but I guess that's because it helped me a lot when I was younger.
By the way, when you read the above statement, you lost the game too.
-
i dont remember which book it was but marco said he was gonna miss the powerpuff girls for the mission. everytime there is commercial or poster or something powerpuff related takes me back to animorphs
-
By the way, when you read the above statement, you lost the game too.
Darn you. >_>
But I agree. Animorphs is EXACTLY like that for me. I can't not think about them constantly. Everything I do and see somehow ends up relating back to the series in some way.
-
But I agree. Animorphs is EXACTLY like that for me. I can't not think about them constantly. Everything I do and see somehow ends up relating back to the series in some way.
See mouse nest while going through firewood in woodshed > mice > hawks > Tobias > Animorphs
See roadkill > carrion > Tobias being forced to eat it > Animorphs
"Hi how are you? What's you're name?" > "Good thanks, and I'm Jake" > Animorphs
See Geese > WHY NO LONG DISTANCE FLYERS UNTIL THE END? > Animorphs
See basically any exotic animal > Things they morphed > Animophs
Feeling sad/depressed > Want to fly away > Become a bird > Animorphs
Really strong environmentalists/moralists > Cassie > Animorphs
See a barn > The barn > Animorphs
See wasps' nests > get bug spray > remember ****roaches > Animorphs
The list goes on and on. It's almost maddening.
-
I'm introducing you all to my mother someday. When I confessed why I want a yellow mustang, she sighed dejectedly and got that "When are you going to shut up about those books?" look on her face again.
-
Every time I walk past the "Gorilla Garden Supply" store in town, I always think of Marco.
-
i think about it way too much as well lol. i think out of all the book series i have loved in my life, none of them as had as much of a lasting impact as animorphs has on me lol
-
looks like marco stuck out with a lot of ppl:)
-
Don't you think we're totally crazy thinking and talking about Animorphs many many years after it finished? ^^'
-
Absolutely. :D But at least we're not alone? XD
-
lol yeah, we're a happy group of fools ;)
-
how does mm-bop (whatever it is) or Red Baron remind you of animorphs?
my first post in the ani thread in a LONG time. *pauses for special moment* anyways
don't forget when they are at that dinner that hanson is at and the ****roaches end up in hanson's salad. what book is that again? I want to say 18, even tho i know that isn't the book, at all. but i can't remember :explode:

O.o what book that Hanson is at? I don't remember Hanson ever being there?
-
the dinner where ax is the waiter, and then he sits in marco's lap. the one where they are trying to demask that actor controller who is trying to use the guy's fame to bring more ppl to the sharing. when marco morphs the fluffy white dog
-
...I'm going to have to reread that book. I hadn't realized how long it had been until I read your post and all I remembered was "fluffy white dog" and "Ax sits in Marco's lap."
-
Fairly certain it wasn't Hanson. I think you're thinking of Book #12 The Reaction when The Sharing infests the Animorph version of Jonathan Taylor Thomas. I can't remember the guy's name, but it wasn't Hanson.
It's the book where Rachel gets the allergic reaction to the 'gator DNA.
-

Crocodile.
And Jeremy Jason McCole. 8)
-
It was totes Hanson
#35. I swear to god.
-
Yeah, those are two different books. #35 was Hanson, #12 was Jeremy.
-
Ah, so they tried the celebrity approach in two different books? I haven't read the last 10 books in sooo long, I forget the details.
-
Ah, so they tried the celebrity approach in two different books?
More than that, actually. Arnold Schwarzenneger (probably spelled that wrong) was in #17, and Joe Bob Fenestre (who I think is probably supposed to represent Bill Gates) is in #16. I'm fairly sure there's more, but that's all that comes to mind at the moment.
-
book 35!!!!!!!!! thank you!
parker how do u forget the book where ax sits in marcos lap at a table full of prissy rich ppl?
-
This list has shortened significantly over the years; I used to live and breathe this series. But here's what has stuck with me for quite a while now:
- The phrase "Let's do it!" never fails to make me think of Rachel and Marco's banter.
- Also, the phrase "Caution: falling objects" always brings to my mind that horrible moment when Tobias realizes his fly morph has landed inside an occupied toilet bowl.
- I learned the word "guano" from Animorphs, and every time I hear it, I have a mental image of spandex-clad teenagers wading through a ton of it to get into the Yeerk Pool.
- When I see meteors, planes, and satellites at night, I usually find myself briefly wondering if it could finally be the Andalites coming to help us out.
- I get a good laugh when I see kids wearing Jake's distinctively terrible haircut.
- When I was first introduced to the satellite view option on Google maps, I remember thinking, "So this is what the city looks like for Tobias."
-

Yeah, but Arnold and Bill weren't used by The Sharing to advertise the organization.
I meant The Sharing tried to use a celebrity for advertisment in more than one book.
book 35!!!!!!!!! thank you!
parker how do u forget the book where ax sits in marcos lap at a table full of prissy rich ppl?
I remember him sitting in Marco's lap, I forgot about the Hanson thing.
-
lol how could you forget about the hanson thing? it was so well done!
-
Because I have a horrible memory.
-
Mmm... back when the series was actually coming out, I remember basically living and breathing Animorphs. Every animal, every situation, I was able to link to the series somehow. A few things have stuck with me strongly since then- the bands the Animorphs like (NIN and Offspring especially) have always had that effect on me. Seeing a hawk has never failed to remind me of Tobias. I've never met an Andalite that didn't remind me of Ax. Oddly, one of the strongest reminders of the series, for me, is Mm-bop. I think I was just that impressed that a joke like that would come from Cassie. I know, I'm weird.
-
I've never met an Andalite that didn't remind me of Ax.
Same here.
Great Success, +1 for being funny.
-
Can't go to Hillsong or walk past a scientologist without thinking of the sharing.
-
Can't go to Hillsong or walk past a scientologist without thinking of the sharing.
Nooooo they got Tom Cruise!!!!!
-
lol It's even easier when an association's name is actually Sharing and come to you and... well ^^' he probably thought I was crazy to ask him if he was an alien... ^^' lol
-
u actually had some one from a group called the sharing come try and recruit you dameg? :o
-
Yeah... In fact, it was "Sharing", alone, and as it was in France, understand that as the French word for "Sharing" (In the French version of Animorphs, The Sharing is "Le Partage", this association was "Partage" ;)). This association was made to help children around the World... but when the guy came to me in the street and told me "Partage", I asked him if he was an alien who try to conquer the World... He said "no", but I said that the aliens would say the same ^^' lol
-
lol, that's crazy, Dameg.
.... You should have offered him instant maple and ginger oatmeal.
-
haha dameg that is awesome!
-
So many things remind me of Animorphs. Hawks definitely, but other weird stuff too.
I killed a spider that was trapped inside a bowl this morning (drowned/suffocated it with various cleaning products) and, being the nerd I am, imagined it morphing to human to escape death.
-
I already said this story here: http://animorphsforum.com/forum/index.php/topic,115.msg266004.html#msg266004 (http://animorphsforum.com/forum/index.php/topic,115.msg266004.html#msg266004)
But I hadn't instant maple and ginger oatmeal with me ;)
-
Fox Mulder and Dana Scully... Also, Cindy Crawford... :)
-
Fox Mulder and Dana Scully... Also, Cindy Crawford... :)
lol and Area 51 91 ;)
-
Oh! I saw one yesterday in a building I was in but didn't remember to post it here.
You know those extendable grates they have that they can use to block off hallways? Those always remind me of that part when Tobias has to escape the school to demorph.
-
Some other things that remind me of Animorphs is my school. One wrong word out of their mouth, and I would yell "YEERK!" Normally they look confused.
-
I ate a lot less of McDonald's after The Underground and The Experiment. Oddly enough, I never strayed away from Burger King(I love that place, I'd still go in there even if Visser Three himself was the owner)
-
That's funny, I ate more McDonalds. ;D
-
Ugh, I just hate Mickey D's all together. I wasn't surprised to find out that they hosted the World's invasion.
I lurve BK baby!
-
Oh yeah! BK FTW
-
I can't see a television go to commercial without thinking of Ax's favorite show. ;)
-
Couple things:
(1). Most cult organizations. I'm still not entirely convinced my sister doesn't have an alien parasite in her head. >3 If you are reading this Meg, I'm sorry. Just a joke. X3
(2).Anybody named Cassie or Tobias.
3). Maple and ginger oatmeal. I don't know if there actually is an instant kind.
(4). Centaurs. All the time. :3
(5). Any time anyone else in a Roleplay I'm doing has to take over a character usually belonging to somebody else, I call it "Yeerking."
(6). The 90's Johnny Quest theme. This is an inside joke regarding the back cover of the first book that'd take me an hour to explain.
(7). Anything involving slugs or alien parasites. I had to deposit a slug by hand outside from my basement two different times. And both times, I really had to resist the urge to put the slug up against my ear. XDD
(8). Visser Three was admittedly part of the personality prototype for Mar, added with Scar's sexy voice and demeanor from The Lion King and Kuja from FFIX. The Yeerk could be downright frightening when he was written by KA sometimes, even if he was a total nutjob.
(9). Red-tailed hawks almost without fail.
(10). "This is insane," , "Let's do it," "Salad shooters," (though I've never heard the word used in any other place), and many other phrases used by down-on-their-luck rebels. Actually, a couple kids against the world generally remind me of Animorphs.
So basically, a lot of things. It's too much a part of my mind. Considering my age when I read it, aspects of Animorphs formed part of many of my earliest imaginings and thoughts.
-
I can't enter a Planet Hollywood without thinking of Ahnold (and a bunch of crazy hawks) saving a man from a rivah in Caleefornyah. It's nat a toomaah!
-
XD I love you so much, Myitt. ^^
Interestingly I can't hear the word "apprentice" now without associating it with sinister intentions. Hence why Donald Trump's show caused me to burst out laughing.
But that really has nothing to do with Animorphs in particular. Associations are weird. ;)
-
Aw warm fuzzies Shen XD
I couldn't read this comic without thinking of...well...you know. Bwahaha. It's from toothpastefordinner .com
-
Haha, good stufness.
-
lol, that's awesome. :P
-
There is a Christmas song that has this sentence in it (not an official translation): "Never in the year is the sharing so strong". And the most disturbing thing is that the entire song is about lonliness.
(More acceptable translation of another sentence) "somewhere in the night, tears turn into ice."
-
This epic song by Muse is very Yeerk-Andalite war x3

-
these are pretty obvious but red-tailed hawks and cinnamon buns
-
Whenever I see a tank of Lobsters. I want to buy then all and take them home just in case.
And both Steve Jobs and Bill Gates are represented in the Andalite Chronicles, as Elfangor two human co-workers.
If you as for extra happy with your happy meal you either get a crazy look or a laugh. Or an ounce a pot and a thirty dollar bill...

Haha, my friend used to work at McDonald's and I asked her if she'd ever been asked for a happy meal with extra happy.
And she said "of course! Stupid potheads." XD
-
Haha. That's awesome ;D And you, of course, just laughed...
-
Well I was pretty shocked until she said "stupid potheads" XD And then I think I told her about the Animorphs reference, even way back then (this was in high school) she probably just patted me on the head.
Although, this IS the friend I've just recently sent a copy of Visser to...maybe she'll actually enjoy it, who knows? ::)
-
With any luck she'll enjoy it, no?
That brings up an interesting point. I wonder how many drugged out people managed to wander into the Yeerk Pool before they decided to change that password... ;D
-
The Yeerk Pool: Infesting Earth One Stoner At A Time
-
Story time:
so once I was sitting on an armchair debating whether I should go do some work....and then a hawk
swooped up to the window and perched on the rail (about 3ft from the window) and stared at me for a few seconds, before flying away again. And I was like "DANG IT TOBIAS now I have to work....."
-
XD Haha, that is AWESOME. I can totally see that sort of thing happening to me. :D
-
Ok so I totally know I'm late in this, but dolphins. I just keep remembering when they were in the ocean and Cassie had to morph back into human from a dolphin and almost drowned.
AND of course slugs.
Post Merged: June 29, 2010, 10:10:19 PM
Not to mention, of course, speedos and bicycle shorts. AND Marco's mullet (mainly on the book covers :P )
-
Nice ones. Absolutely. XD
And welcome to RAF!!! You should post an introduction thread (http://animorphsforum.com/forum/index.php?board=7.0) when you get around to it!
(Edited in accordance with Steph's post. Thank you, dear! :))
-
Flies... I can't see flies without thinking about Jake. For me, every fly is Jake... but I also don't specially like flies, and as there are many around in summer, I wanna kill them... but then I think about Jake and I can't kill them... >_< I really have a problem...
-
Marie, don't you mean he should make an intro thread? :P
Marco's hair wasn't really a mullet... it was just long. XD
Hyde, one post wasn't what I meant! :P

A couple months ago I got a couple Mormon missionaries come by my house. One's last name was -- no lie -- Esplin.
I hid the giggles until they left. Imagine Visser 3 posing as an LDS missionary! :rofl2:
An assortment of other things that remind me of Animorphs: Mm-bop (hadn't heard of the song til animorphs, lol -- but then, I read them in the early 00's) the words "candlelight" -- I read once a list of things to do to mess with your Animorph-fan friends and one of them was to get all freaked out if you heard them say "candle light", as if they had said "Andalite". For that matter, the phrase "and a light" gets me too.
Cinnabon, the mall, red-tailed hawks, baby skunks (my favorite book ends with
Ax telling the Visser the best way to get rid of skunk smell -- since Cassie in skunk morph sprayed him. Repeatedly. From very close range. -- is by bathing in grape juice. And Tobias reported that the Visser "is now a very lovely shade of purple. :rofl2:
, people from Canada (Ax: I am from Canada. I am Canadese.) the word "morph" in any sense, the prefix "ani" -- animagus, for instance. totally a rip-off of animorphs, i tell ya! -- The Young and The Restless (Marco: Ax, why aren't you wearing a shirt? Ax: The people on The Young and the Restless do not wear shirts. I am young. And I am often restless.) Nine Inch Nails (I remember the scene where Marco's trying to get Cassie to buy an NIN CD for him or something like that. He'd told his dad that NIN stood for "Nice Is Neat" -- can anyone find the exact reference for me?) I could probably name off dozens more, I seem to be reminded of Animorphs by very odd random things at the most random of moments!
-
...How did you do that? You just became my new favorite person with one post. XD
But yeah. I'm now of the opinion that just about everything reminds me of Animorphs, including, but not limited to, the entire English language.
-
The NIN moment is in a Rachel book: #12, The Reaction.
"My mom's going to give a little presentation on endangered species," Cassie said as we sauntered along with the rest of our class. "A presentation. To us.... She thinks she has to be entertaining.... It's dangerous when Mom tries to be entertaining. See, she'll think she has to be cool and all. She'll start talking about 'The Fudgies' or 'Snoopy Diggity Dog,' or 'Boys Eleven Men,' or 'Nice is Neat.'"
I laughed out loud, practically spraying Mountain Dew from my nose. "Okay. The Fugees, Snoop Doggy Dogg and Boyz II Men I get. But what's Nice is Neat?"
Cassie looked guilty. "NIN. You know, Nine Inch Nails? I wanted to get the new CD but I was broke, so I told my mom NIN stood for Nice Is Neat."
I grabbed Cassie's arm and turned her around. "No way. You? That sounds like something Marco would have thought up."
Cassie quickly looked down at the ground. Then she started laughing. "Okay, it was Marco's idea. He said, 'What parent can possibly resist a rock group named Nice Is Neat?'"
-
Oddly enough, that show Wipeout. Every time I see it, I can't help but think Ax would get a kick out of it.
-
A couple months ago I got a couple Mormon missionaries come by my house. One's last name was -- no lie -- Esplin.

That's pretty... OK totally hilarious.
Mm-bop (hadn't heard of the song til animorphs, lol -- but then, I read them in the early 00's)
God must have truly blessed you for you to make it through the 90s without hearing that song :).
-
I was pretty much addicted to classic rock, country, and oldies during that time -- not exactly stations that would have grabbed up a song like that. :P Not blessed, just... weird :P
-
Any insects ever. I found a beetle in the shower yesterday and felt it necessary to chastise it b/c I was sure it was Marco in morph being a perv.

I saw this on my homepage today and thought of Rachel. I posted this on LJ too so sorry if this is redundant for some of you.

A small scar... she isn't Claire... And Rachel would have morphed and the scar would have disappear... Who is this girl, then?
-
... And Rachel would have morphed and the scar would have disappear...
Not necessarily... I mean, by all reasonable means within the functioning of the morphing technology as we know it scars should be removed by morphing; yet in #7, The Stranger Cassie points out a scar on her hand. Up to this point in the series that was entirely possible, we knew that morph-bodies were reconstructed from scratch each morph and were healed, but it was still possible that their original bodies were only 'stored away' somehow and not remade/healed because they were never quite specific about injuries to their natural bodies. Then right after this in MM#1 Rachel explicitly says that scratches on her feet were healed from morphing. So you could say that morphing would in general heal scars and the scar Cassie points out was a tiny KASU hidden in a minor reference... then she had to go and throw Sofor with the gigantic scars across his face into our face.
-
I was thinking about MM1, that's why I supposed she wasn't Rachel ^^'
-

Hi yunyun, welcome to RAF! I'm Tara, if you want you can post an intro thread here: http://animorphsforum.com/forum/index.php?board=7.0 and you can make your own personal rant and rave thread here: http://animorphsforum.com/forum/index.php?board=30.0
And I can't walk past the goddamned oatmeal aisle in the grocery store without thinking, just a little, about Animorphs ;D
-
Red Baron - Jake calls Tobias that in #33. Mm-bop... I can't remember. XD
Although Red Baron always makes me feel conflicted. On the one hand, I always think of Snoopy's "Curse you Red Baron!" and then I think of Tobias... Conflicting fandom loyalties. :'(
Listen to the Christmas one, then! Snoopy and the Red Baron have dinner together. It's quite sweet.

I can't see any of the normal stuff, obviously, construction sites, hawks, lizards, spiders... Any animal, really. :D
Things like drain pipes always make me think of them, like, "Yeah, you THINK your house is secure, but what about that vent for the dryer, huh? Jake could TOTALLY get in through that" Lol. I can't even see a blond without thinking of Rachel. And EVERY time I see a fly, every time. Lol. Oh, and ants, obviously. Jeeze, there isn't much I can see without thinking of them. >_<
-
Let's see...Oatmeal, cinnamon buns, coffee, the mall, any animal really....Y'know I think it would easier to list all the things that DON'T remind me of animorphs. ;D
-
Red-Tailed Hawks. I do wildlife rehab so...that, too.
-
Lobsters. Walked passed a tank in the grocery store.

My wrist. Everytime I look at it, I smile. Its also a good reminder to never completely grow up

the part where she sings"do youever fell, already buried deep, six feet under screams but no one seems to hear a thing" reminds me of book 17 digging to the yeerk pool

Walking around with friends at the mall and sitting together in the food court. Something about a bunch of us sitting at the table makes me think of Animorphs--even though my friends don't read the books. Maybe it's the togetherness.
Taco Bell. In the Arrival, Tobias tells Ax that he's a "Taco Bell man", or something like that. Also, the holidays, cinnamon buns, leather jackets (the Tv series, but still counts) kids with blonde hair, rats and anything shaped like a cube.

The biggest one is when I am go down emergency lengthy and narrow staircases and feeling that draft in my face once the door is opened. Makes me hesitate and listen out for human cries.
A kite hovering above some sand dune and listening for prey.
A roach scurrying around the house.

Whenever I hear the word "Hope"...it's probably fairly obvious what I think of.

The word acquire sometimes makes me giggle.

The word acquire sometimes makes me giggle.
I always think of acquire differently...:P

Power Rangers has been reminding me of Animorphs lately. :P I think it's the "morphing" bit. And how many of them there are.
-
Spend a lot of your time watching Power Rangers, Steph?
-
Actually I've been watching this: http://thatguywiththeglasses.com/videolinks/linkara/hopr
XD And... yeah. Been watching too much of it.

"I am force Tiger!" *transforms*
"I am force Bear!" *transforms*
"I am force Wolf!" *transforms*
"I am force Gorilla!" *transforms*
<I am force... forget it.> *doesn't transform*
<We are the Power Animorphers!>
PS: I'm sorry if they don't say like that in the old series, I just know the French parody and I tried to translate into English...

(Don't think I'm a weirdo for this, PLEASE!!!) I always think of the Mysertrons at every start of every animorphs books, in case you don't know, the Mysterons are a race of martians that Gerry Anderson created for his TV Series Captain Scarlet in the '80's, plus he recently made on in 2005. Yeah... they kill a person then make up an exact genetic copy but without the same DNA but in the 2005 version they revealed there is still a bit of the human left over and sometimes the human will fight it ad then be free. See the resemblance? XD

Buddy, saying that RAF is weird is like saying Hiroshima experienced Urban renewal.
-
Saying RAF is weird is like saying Hitler was a minor inconvienence.

Has anyone seen that one commerical? You know... that one? Yeah, that's descriptive. I think it's about PVRs or something. It's whole mantra is 'You're a Controller'. I'M NOT KIDDING. I saw it yesterday and started freaking out, and my fiance called me a Controller all of Chritmas Evening. If I see it again, I'll try and find it on youtube, but I never watch television, so we might be out of luck. But keep your eyes peeled.

It's Playstation Move, or something like that. Or I might be thinking of the XBox 360 one. I know what you're talking about though.
