Title: So how do you figure Erik found out?
Post by: Chad32 on March 29, 2009, 08:47:03 AM: We know that Erik knew about Edriss before she left Earth with Eva, but unfortunately couldn't do anything about it. So what's the theory about how he found out?

Did he detect the Kandrona radiation, and find the portable Kandrona machine?

Did he find the ship she and the other guy used to get to earth?

Did he join the Sharing way back then, and find out the truth? (Might be the most believable answer)

Did he have previous knowledge of the Yeerk species, and manage to put two and two together?

Heck, if even one Chee had been a 'controller' then, they could have found out, and then Erek would have found out through the Chee-net.

And bee-tee-dubs, it's spelled Erek, not Erik.

i thought the same.... hes stupidly smart so he could have figured it out himself.. Mr Holmes would have nothing on a dog shaped android

This is what I figured too, Edriss left with Eva long aster the invasion of Earth was well underway, plenty of time for Erek or some other Chee to become a host.
