Either do something else, then, or write that off as something the Alvie decided needs changing. I'll edit as necessary.

Erm... I'm pretty sure whether or not Andalites shed tears is never brought up in canon. :P So, if you want
'em to cry... there's nothing saying they can't. XD

I didn't think they could cry, yeah it's mentioned in Andalite Chronicles that Elfangor couldn't cry as a human does in his natural form, so he cried the way Andalites do, in their hearts.

I'm really tempted to reread Andalite Chronicles now to see where it says that. I don't need more incentive to reread it. :P

I'm going to assume you're right till I get off my butt and look it up. (When I'll probably know you're right. ::))

If it's there, it's probably in the back half.

First, on page 310 of the Andalite Chronicles, Elfangor notices warm wet liquid on his cheeks when talking to the Ellimist.  He says, "Tears.  A human thing."

And I swear in either that book or another Ax or Elfangor says they cried inside, as only Andalites can do.

Oh yeah, Steph, I looked it up!  Nerdy, or just plain sad? XD

Maybe Elfangor was just some kind of tear duct-less freak, and his parents told him that's how all Andalites cry! :P

I'm going to go with nerdy. :P Because if I wasn't a lazy bum, I'd do the same thing. (Er... which I guess means I wouldn't, since I'm never not a lazy bum? Bah.)

If Ax said it, I think it was when he said goodbye to the Andalite girl, and Cassie held his hand.

Quote from: Chapter 48, The Andalite Chronicles
It was strange. I felt like crying. But I no longer
had human eyes. So I cried the way an Andalite
does. Inside. In my hearts.

Booyah.

No problem! I completely agree, continuity is best. I hate making canon mistakes. Lol
