I don't really think there lines were all that much brighter or more special than the others. I believe that Elfangor was just being sentimental...

To Cassie, Book 29: After you rescued Aftran and were trying to figure out how to keep her alive away from the Yeerk Pool, why didn't you just ask Erek for permission to use his internal Kandrona generator (rom book 10)?

To the Animorphs, book 20.  Why didn't you stash David with either Erek or with the free Hork-Bajir (which sounds easier and safer than parking him in your homes or in Cassie's barn)?

The Conspiracy, book 31: To the Animorphs: Why didn't you take Tom to the free Hork-Bajir valley, starve out his Yeerk, and then fake his death?
