Cerulean, thanks for helping explain the situation   It's always nice to have someone with a bit more experience, like our unofficial mods (Teach, Ossanlin, Marie, Shenmue, and me), not to be elitist, but just to be able to explain some of the basics and reiterate when things start going awry.  Everyone here has different levels of dialogue writing experience and differently built characters, but we want to be welcoming and try to be the best writers/roleplayers as we can while not ruining anyone's fun.

Scinlao, no offense--and I'm not getting mad, just a little frustrated.  It's fun to have a big powerful gun that can smash holes in things, but I think more of us are here for character development and interesting side situations--not for huge fights and blowing the place to smithereens.

So please try to think realistically about how a big laser being shot at a planetoid will affect everyone else.  Also Chad, keep your vampire guy in check--if he takes a big laser to destroy, or the demolition of half a planet, and even then he just vanishes to his "sanctuary"--how the heck can anyone else (especially meatbag characters with nothing but fists and regular guns--most of us here) even possibly hope to destroy him?  Thanks for understanding.

What I was thinking was that he's safe in his sanctuary, but he has to actually come outside to do anything. Outside he can be harmed or killed, but I need a spot for him to be able to rest without being constantly pursued by twenty people.

Okay...then what else can harm or kill him, besides something that will demolish the whole place?

Things like fire or acid really get in the way of his natural regeneration. Dracons would help too, since they disintegrate. Having his head chopped off would work.

So what good is the laser going to do, besides kill everyone at the bar?

I don't know. I'm still trying to figure out how fred's going to avoid it, because he still hasn't successfully done anything yet.

Well, I don't know if I'm making him a traditional vampire or not. He's a Vampire in the sense that he's a Humanoid parasite.

Yea. agreed. I love watching things explode. XD.  And it's not a laser. It's a Gravimetric Compression wave. It literally crushes things.

We're really not trying to be mean Scinlao, honestly.  I know we've been a little harsh lately but that's just because of our frustration.  Demolishing half of the planetoid would affect everything, there's no way around that.  If you insist upon doing it, and I only say this as caution, we'll probably just ignore it and go on as if nothing happened, because we will say that nothing has happened, and what we say goes.  Like I said, not trying to be mean, just giving precautions.

He is just smoothing down a quarter of the Planetoid not blowing up half off it. It's like he's rolling a steam roller over a quarter of the planetoid.

But is it the quarter of the planetoid that the bar is at?  If it is, then a steamroller will kill everyone else around it just as well as Frederick.
