I'm starting college on the 8th of September..I know it's a month away but I thought I'd share it with you all anyway.

I'm going to the Australian College of Natural Medicine to get a Certificate IV in Massage Therapy...it's going to be a challenge for me because there's a tonne of anatomy and physiology theory, and I wasn't the best at biology in high school, so that means I'll be studying pretty hard...

It's fulltime and I'll be living at my dads as the college is in Brisbane, so I probably won't have much time to spare here.

I'm kinda excited but really nervous...it's in the city and I'm just a country girl that won't know my way around haha...but it's only for 6 months so I should be ok! Anyway..just wanted to tell you all..

Don't worry about RAF too much, we'll still be here when you get back! I understand how you feel though, as I was incredibly inactive on here for most of the 2 years I spent in college.

Good luck.  Just make sure to take some time to have fun.  College is awesome and goes by WAAAAAYYYYYY too fast.

Best of luck! I'm returning to college next week. I'm Elementary Education myself. That's a lot of work there since I'll be starting my methods classes (how to teach subjects).

Personally, it's not that I don't care you're leaving, it's the fact that I don't think you're actually going away forever. I mean, I'm in college, and I still spend time on here almost everyday, despite the heavy schedule. College doesn't mean the end of everything. I doubt you'll be SO busy to the point that you'll never have the time to come on here anymore, even for a few minutes.

Good luck at college Kelly, don't worry, you can't stay away from the crazy addictive lure of RAF for long ^__^  You'll do fine, I was nervous going to college too, I went to a big school that was a bit far away from home, but you'll make friends and learn your way around like it's nothing ^^

Brisbane is majorly evil though, I've spent some time there.  Just...don't use the train-line between Southbank/downtown and the southeast suburbs after say 10pm.  Just a heads up.  It's like seriously teen-gangster stabby territory.

The buses are pretty safe.  But Brisbane's trains are a New-Zealanders-pretending-to-be-Crips nightmare.
