The polar bear was only morhped for the use to survive in the artic and in oe other time when they needed to hit them hardest

A boar can do quite a bit of damage actually. Of course a rhino can do ten times that and actually take a bullet or two.

I think during some battle with the Yeerks they should have led them to the mall, then have someone morph a WHALE on the glass roof, I think that would squish a few hundred Yeerks...  >:D
This might have also worked for David   ;D
Then, of course, they would have pointed out that they only wanted to kill Yeerks not humans...etc...etc. ................
