I really hope Mar can talk Ossanlin out of taking his own life, although I know Luke would never let that happen.
If he doesn't manage it, then someone else will.
And poor Terenia. We feel for you in regards to having to kill off Tamora. I liked Joanne and Keshin so much I didn't have the heart to murder them. )= Both them and Mar have been around for years. Keshin's actually the oldest.
Oh yeah, and if this isn't in the Rules thread already:
-It isn't impossible to create powerful characters in the GESB. Ossanlin is a seriously powerful dude, and he's also extremely fleshed-out and believable. However, if you're going to create someone with a huge advantage than there must be equally potent disadvantages. This is so that they can fight the other characters and potentially lose. For instance:
-Mar, as characters go, is quite strong. This is because of what he represents and because having him completely powerless is boring.
However, I have limited what he's capable of doing to abilities that interact with something that already exists. I.E. Himself or other objects. I have also made using these abilities exhausting for him, and made it so that he'd pretty much kill himself if he tries anything crazier. Killing him will also effectively kick him out of the Bar for the rest of the story.
