It would have been awesome if the Animorphs could have just morphed random limbs. They could play dead really well if they were supposed to have been eaten by something. "Oh, the monster must have missed the arm."
Or maybe they want to freak someone out so they morph a hand that just crawls along the ground.

It seems highly unlikely that their extra mass would get rammed by a Zero Space ship the 2nd time they tried the mosquito trick!  It my understanding that the accident in Book 18 was the FIRST such accident ever!

I just had a disturbing/hilarious thought.

What would happen if you took a Mortron :mortron: (the wheeled aliens Visser Three kept as pets in the Andalite Chronicles, which could quickly regenerate into multiple copies of themselves when cut in half) and put it into a blender/food processor?  Will It Blend?

 . . . The 'disturbing' part, of course, is the fact that I find this mental image 'hilarious.'
