I'm back, guys! Surgery went well. I went in for my follow-up today and am already seeing at 20/15. I go back again in a week.

Gonna work on getting a post up now. It might take a little bit because I need to figure out which rebels are on the other ships. Thanks for your patience!

I'm glad I finally get to throw Dan into things. He's like Terenia, only more prone to hitting things! But that's just because he's repressing an awful lot. :3

Oh joy of joys. 

You want him here, and you brought a version of him to the bar. I guess you consider him more of a character than "Terenia's unfortunate brother that she had to kill".

[Terenia]

Well, in Terenia's canon she only thought she killed him. In actuality she didn't...she just doesn't know that until he shows up several years later.

Oh. Ok, I guess whoever thought that idea up figured she might actually do it, and decided to send someone less important.

[Terenia]

Terenia killed a very effective hologram of her brother. When you meet her in the bar, she doesn't know that yet. Dan is actually unaware of the fact that Terenia herself is alive until maybe a year and a half after when Claxter encountered her in the bar. As far as he's concerned, she ran away when she was ten and he was sixteen and he hasn't seen her since. He and Tammy were piped through The Sharing as a way to deal with the loss of their sister, and both of them think Terenia is dead until the bar for Tammy and the rebellion for Dan.

So I have a question, Jessi...does this Terenia already know Dan's still alive?

I'm not sure why they'd bother with a hologram instead of just some makeup. Surely they didn't need someone to look EXACTLY like Dan, since Terenia had been gone for a long time. Though maybe a hologram would have been simpler. This whole plot point seems complicated, but it's your storyline I guess.

[Terenia]

Terenia knows what her brother looks like. Remember, she thinks she killed him years ago, when their separation hadn't been as long. Also, when she left Earth he was 16, so he wouldn't physically change too much. Considering Terenia "killed" him from about a foot away from him, it would be pretty obvious if it wasn't him.


Yes, Luke, Terenia knows that Dan is alive. They lived together at the rebellion for about six months prior to the Andalite attack.

Maybe next year we'll add a category for "RP Moderator of the Year" or "Storyline Creator of the Year" -- because you would so win that.

I'm glad you think so, Jessi.  ^^  I was really gunning for thread of the year...but I figured RE didn't have that much of a chance with the majority of ppl on RAF not giving one hoot about RP.

Luke, can I ask why you make multiple posts for different characters, instead of just putting everything in one post. The double and triple posts kind of bug me, because I've been taught that you shouldn't do that.
