We (the Staff) are trying something new. In an attempt to make sure everyone has a chance to keep up to date with what's going on with RAF, we have decided to make a thread strictly for announcements.

This topic, which should show up under "Show unread posts since last visit" when a new post has been made, will be updated by a staff member when something is going on that we want you guys to know about. It could be something major like RAF Awards, or it could be something small, like a new forum feature.

If you have any questions, either about an announcement we post or about this topic in general, feel free to shoot a PM to a staff member. Also, this thread is here for you guys if you want something announced. Just PM someone on staff and we'd be happy to make a post here for you.

Megamorphs #1, Chapter 11 has been released for download! You should go check it out. It (and the people working on it) are pretty awesome.

The Audiobook Project has released Megamorphs #1, Chapter 12 download, only a few days after the release of Chapter 11. You should go check it out.

A Bit Late, But...


We just wanted to thank everyone who took part in the RAF Survey. We enjoyed reading your input, and will do our best to keep it in mind when making decisions for the forum. Remember, even though the survey is over, we're always open to your suggestions!

In other news, for those who don't know but are interested: Animorphs co-author Michael Grant released a new book today.

RAF's Audiobook Project has finished Disc 1 of Megamorphs #1! The disc includes Chapters 1-11.

Board Name Change


To clear up confusion, "General Fan Fiction" has been changed to "General Fan Fiction & Art." It is still where you should post all fanfiction/art not relating to Animorphs. The purpose hasn't changed, just the name so that things are hopefully a little bit clearer.

So, there's an attempt to regain some interest in Mafia. If you're interested and think you have the time to play, you should head over and sign up.

RAF's Birthday and RAF Party!


Tomorrow (May 23rd) will mark RAF's 9th birthday. In celebration, we're having a RAF Party! WOO!

Don't know what a RAF Party is? A RAF Party is when all posts on the forum, including the Bored Board,  count toward your post count. Lots of posting usually ensues.

Things should start at 12am EST. For those of you who might not be sure when that is, at the time of this post, it's about 6 1/2 hours away.

Thank you to all you guys for keeping RAF going for the last nine years. :) Hopefully we'll be around for many years to come!

RAF Party Like It's 1999...


After some discussion, staff has decided to bring back RAF Parties! Starting in September, we'll be having a RAF Party every third weekend of the month. Our first RAF Party will be September 15-16, starting at about midnight EST (give or take a few minutes. XD)

Don't know what a RAF Party is? RAF Parties are days when every post you make on RAF, including the Bored Board, count toward your post count! They're pretty darn spiffy and fun and usually lead to lots of posting and insanity--just like any event on RAF should!

There will be reminders and so forth closer to the dates, so don't worry about forgetting! Also, for anyone who might take a peek at the calendar, there is now an event for the RAF Party on September 15 and 16 as a reminder!

RAF Awards nominations are officially open! Go here to view this year's categories! You can nominate as many people as you want for each category, or skip some altogether! Just make sure you don't nominate yourself and that you get all nominations in to a staff member via PM by 11:59pm EST on December 13th!

Last Day To Nominate!

In case you've been living in a cave for the past two weeks, today is the closing date for the awards nominations. Send in your last minute nominations now and get a free imaginary cake! :D

Seriously though, if you don't nominate anyone then you lose the right to complain if your fav RAFians aren't up for voting.
You don't have to nominate for every award if you're too busy, just one or two is better than nothing.
