-Yes we are ,and of course if we are going to do this we have to find the yeerk pool-I thought for a while-how do we do that?-

(SAM)

-Simple-I said looking at Jake-we follow a controller,now who that we know is a...-Looking down the road cut me off, a police car had appeared and was driving towards the barn-Mmmm,guys?-I said moving my head towards the road.

<You know, I think I'll demorph now,> I said, and started demorphing. I imagined different orders I could demorph in, and made one look like the Andalite

I was completely surprised when Sam told us his parents were Andalites.

"What?" I didn't know what to say or think. How had they managed to blend in? Did they keep having to morph human? Did that mean that every two hours they'd disappear off? I silently resolved to ask him about it later as Marco distracted me with his talk of fighting.

"I don't know, guerilla warfare doesn't sound like it'd destroy a Yeerk Pool." I imagined it as a swimming pool. "And if only the Yeerks are in the pool, surely we can destroy it without harming any Controllers? I think we'd need to go in there and just attack, maybe morph big or strong animals that pack a punch." I didn't know how to find the Pool, but that was my two cents on our attack plan. I turned to Sam, about to question him about his parents, when a police car appeared. When Cassie began to demorph I froze nervously. Hopefully she'd demorph before anyone saw her. However, my fear was overpowered when she demorphed in a slightly less gross way, resembling an Andalite or a centaur as she had a horse's body but a human torso and head atop it.

"Wow, cool! Did you do that on purpose?" I couldn't help asking her? Then I realised that Tobias was still in morph, "Uh, Tobias? Maybe you should demorph too? How long have you been in morph?" I frowned. If we were going to destroy the Yeerk Pool, a small bird was going to be no help whatsoever, and I didn't want anyone to get stuck in morph.

I shook my head.<No I have been in morph less then fifteen minutes...besides its a body I like.>I said flapping my wings, again another feeling around me was that I didn't want to change back and I am sure the others caught that when I replied.<Besides...I was thinking I could fly around town, maybe see if I can find the Yeerk Pool.>

The car stoped right in front of us.I didnt dare look back to see if Cassie was done morphing.
But if the officer noticed a half horse half girl standing there we would have a though time explaining.And what if he was a controller?He would know we could morphd and we'd be done for.

I moved in front of Cassie,shielding her from sight.-Tobias I think you better take off,a hawk at ground level draws to much attention-

I moved in front of the shifting horse. I was going insane. That was the only solution.

Uh-oh I thought, and tried to stay hidden while I demorphed as fast as I could. i couldn't let the police see me half way in morph

<Your right Sam.>I replied and spread my wings and begin to flap them, jumping off the fence post and into the air, trying to act as best as a hawk as possible but also try to distract the cop maybe for a second to allow Cassie time to fully demorph.

A single officer walked towards us.
-Morning-He said,he noticed we were all packed in a tight group-You kids,hiding something?-he asked.
-Hiding something?-I repeated trying my best to seem innocent.
-Step aside,all of you-he ordered.

(SAM)

I fought the urge to look over my shoulder before stepping aside,I didnt knew if Cassie was done morphing.

[yunyun]

"Step aside, all of you," I heard the police men say. I hoped I had enough time. All I had to do now was demorph my hoofs into feel. I quickly did it, just as everyone stepped aside. That was a close one, I thought

I moved with Jake. Man I hoped Cassie was finished

I moved inwards to cover Cassie with everyone as the policeman approached. When he told us to move aside, I bit my tongue, wanting to reply sarcastically and stepped aside, hoping Cassie had finished morphing.

((sorry, I haven't actually read the first book- what is it I should be showing everyone?))

I flapped my wings hard and got lucky as I caught a thermal and mad a slow circle above the group, hoping the cop wouldn't notice me.
