  • Well, this is new. Showing remorse, Eggman?
I know I have asked this question before in the far past, but since I have not been on this forum in a long time, I would like some fresh ideas on this subject: If the Yeerks attempted to invade the Earth of the Dragon Ball Z universe, how would it go? I, for one, think this "invasion" would be an Epic FAIL. For instance, every member of the Earth Special Forces (the "Z-Warriors"/"Z-Fighters") is capable of sensing Ki. Assuming the Yeerks are able to land on Earth undetected, they (The ESFs) would be able to sense who is a Controller and who is not, since the ESFs are able to distinguish between good Ki and evil Ki. Also, the ESFs would likely be able to sense their imminent arrival, before they even land on Earth. I say this because after the Garlic Jr. saga, Frieza and his father were about to land on Earth, and the ESFs were able to sense Frieza and King Cold's presence before they even crossed the perimeters of Earth's atmosphere! Also, the weakest member of the Earth Special Forces is powerful enough to... well, if he went to the Yeerk homeworld and so much as j***ed on the ground-- bye-bye, Yeerk homeworld. Bye-Bye, Council of Thirteen! There goes the head of the serpent.*      Also, when they sensed the imminent Yeerk invasion, all one of them would have to do is fire an energy blast straight at the Yeerk mothership--

Earth Special Forces=1, Yeerk Invasion=0 (Actually going into space is voluntary).

*This was not intended to be an innuendo; I was thinking about the old war adage "Cut the head off of a serpent, and the body will die eventually".
The present day... The here and now that you've stolen... Time to take it back!

*Laughs* I don't know why I am bothering, but this assumes several inaccurate bits of information. And this is all basing itself on the fact that comparing power level incompatible universes isn't a ridiculous pursuit. In order to compare, you'd have to raise or lower the output of either one. The Dragon Ball Z universe basically assumes gods exist in human form, and thus only godlike beings could be compared.

(1). Yes, someone like say Visser Three or (as comparison) Frieza would generate equal amounts of a similar kind of rotting, evil aura. Several individual irrelevant Yeerks would generate poisonous Ki as well. However, saying all Yeerks produce it is akin to saying all humans do. If you're brainwashed into committing an "evil" act by your government or simply do so for your own survival, are you evil? The generating mechanism for Ki needs examination here. The ESFs have to deal with an awful lot of aliens on a pretty regular basis: they'd certainly know the Yeerks were coming, but probably not what it meant. And the Yeerks never come all at once. In my opinion....if Visser Three was leading, they'd stand a shot of working out the Yeerks were a problem. If it was anyone less evil, they'd have a bit more trouble.

(2). The Yeerks cannot even get on their own home world, and the vast majority of Yeerk Vissers (And actually, us as readers by extension) have no idea just where in the world the Council of Thirteen actually is. "Cutting off the head" would most likely splinter the Yeerk army into factions, not kill the Yeerks. And upon working out that a Class Four species was co-habiting with human beings, they'd re-think invading the place at all.
