((Ack...sorry guys
I've been busy...and I've been waiting for someone to start shooting at the ship or something, because the farther we go from Earth the harder it will be for everyone to get involved. Right now we're still in regular old space, with a tracking device x3 Okay, here goes nothing.))
Corliss and Myitt glanced at each other.
"No way," Myitt said sourly.
"Don't even have to ask," Corliss said at the same time. Then they both looked at Tia/Norpo.
"It is true, we know very little about you other than your word," Myitt said thoughtfully. "We could perform a memory dump, but not until we get to the base. In the meantime, I think we need to get this thing off the ship." Ahead, the little fighter was cruising rapidly toward the beginning of the massive Kuiper asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter. Giant space rocks the size of the moon floated by, dark and ominous. "Hmmm...who said life imitates art?" Myitt wondered aloud, flying the ship toward one of the larger asteroids, down toward the freezing rocky surface pockmarked with crags and tunnels. Deep within these tunnels there was a sort of thin, icy atmosphere, not breathable by human standards but perhaps capable of supporting some form of alien life...
The ship settled down in a dark tunnel, illuminated only by the bloodred of the ship's landing lights. "Corliss, how many suits do we have?"
"Damned if I know," Corliss replied, venturing into the storage room. "Uhh," he said, muffled. "Looks like we've got three. Air supplies for four, though."
"Good, we might need it," Myitt said as her brother threw her a silvery black uniform with boots stuck to the bottom, and what looked like an inflatable bag with tubes attached. Stolen, old Andalite technology, this... "Does anyone else want to help me look?" Myitt said, glancing at Aurora, who still looked pretty shaken...then at Tia/Norpo, a look that silently asked, 'think you know exactly where it is?'
