The Sharing: Rebellion From Within

As much as Michael wanted to get home before 10, he also wanted to know what was going on...
"Hey, do you guys have a phone here. I could phone my mom and tell her I'll be a little late." Michael said. "And aurora, what do you mean why? he told us why. to show us proof."

(Oops.  Sorry morfowt    Now I'm getting confused, heheh.)

"I can give you a one word explanation," Corliss said, looking off to make sure Kaitlyn/Illrid was gone.  Then he turned his attention back to Aurora and Michael.  

"'Spaceship'."  He put an arm around Tia's shoulders and indicated for her and the two humans to follow him back into the building.

Aurora laughed sharply before realizing that Mike was being serious. Spaceship? What, was that code for something? There was only one way she would find out...

"Alright." She said with a shrug, falling in step behind Mike "I'm in."

(Sorry guys, I hafta go to bed, and next time I'll introduce a new character whose profile I haven't written yet XD; Feel free to continue without me, if you can! ^__^)

"Great," said Corliss cheerfully, walking back into the building.  "Follow me."

"A spaceship?" Michael asked skeptically. a spaceship wasn't exactly the kind of proof he imagined. He half-expected it to just be something made out of metal. "Well does it fly? Cuz if it doesn't, I'll have a hard time believing it's a real spaceship." Michael said. "Hey, can you guys wait a moment, I have to go to the bathroom...where is the bathroom around here?"

(They just walked back into the building, I doubt there's a spaceship in there, sorry if that wasn't clear x3  They have to make an exit from the meeting first, before people get even more suspicious, and then other people can join/follow them...okies, bedtime for Tara xD)

((Not that i'm try to spoil the fun by being a 'johnny come-lately' or anything, but I'm trying to figure out where my character should jump in, given that she's new to The Sharing and if i read correctly she missed the general meeting for the newbies...thanks. Sorry to be a burden, this just looks like a really fun rp I don't wanna miss out on!!! ))

(Or you could have your character bump into ours, looking for help?  ^^  And cheerfully getting dragged into chaos?  That little meeting we had was really some loony Yeerk trying to recruit people to a rebellion against the Yeerk Empire, so the regular meetings went on as planned.  Your character could've been at the new members meeting or playing pool or something, y'know? Welcome anyway ^^)

Mike led the little band of Controllers and humans through the milling crowd, with no real intention of bringing the two humans to the registration desk.  There were still quite a few people hanging around after the full member meeting, some of them aimless looking, others talking to some of the aimless ones like this was the happiest place on Earth.

Michael followed Mike and occasionally looked at the other members. Some of them had stuck around after the real meeting. Being new, he didn't recognize anyone.
"Hey" he whispered to Aurora, "You think Mike's gonna show us a real spaceship, or do you think it's just gonna be a fake made out of cardboard or something?"

Catching their words, she turned her head, ignoring Norpo's constant comments about how silly she was acting. "Oh, it's most likely real, alright. I've got bruises to prove that spaceships are real. And burns." She rubbed her arm, where a loose wire had shocked her earlier that week. "By the by," she said, turning to Mike, "which one are you going to?"

Aurora glances between the two, then shrugs, answering Michael in the same hushed voice, "They don't sound like they're joking, but come on. There's no such thing as spaceships. Don't you think we would have noticed if ET landed or something?"

Kaitlyn rose from her seat, tired of sitting and listening to Yeerk statistics for thirty minutes. Illrid was extremely frustrated with Iniss right now. If it hadn't been for the crowd of new comers in the main room, the crowd of witnesses, she would have been tempted to strangle him.

In the main room, everyone was still talking. Their chatter could be heard from all the way in the meeting room.

<Humans are so loud,> Illrid complained, more to herself than to her host. Kaitlyn agreed, but she could not say so.

A cluster of humans walked by. At first, Kaitlyn didn't notice them. But as the last one trailed behind the group, she gasped in sudden recognition. Corliss, Tia, and the two humans were headed off somewhere. This was the perfect opportunity to spy on Corliss, to find out what he was really up to. She didn't have to expose herself and reveal her presence to them, if this all turned out to be exactly what he had said.

She followed silently behind them, casually slipping through the crowd to blend in so they would not see.
