Ok You have a point I did forget about the military guys. However I feel that a normal citizen would not react that way. I feel like they would either run away or fight. Just my opinion.

well there aren't just people in the military, there are similar people such as police, firemen, and people like ko ko that enjoy camping and backpacking and stuff. i mean realistically, i'm just being silly about the stupid cars

Ok then. Well IMO I dont think human civilization is like that. I think our need for survival will override logical thinking. Emotionally responsive will be what most people are IMO.

while i for the most part agree that self preservation is a basic instinct, animals in particular, their purpose seems to be the survival of the species. there a some people out there that feel in such a way

blaze, evolution works like this: you are a monkey (which i'm pretty sure you still are) and there is a big lion running at you wanting to eat you. you have couple of choices: run, fight, or open your arms for a hug. the monkeys that run or fight have a chance at survival. the monkeys that try to hug the lion or negotiate with the lion invariably get eaten
