"What do you mean cars cause death? How do they kill any more people than trucks do?"

"How do you figure that cars equal death? Trucks can cause death as well you know? Plus the Camaro is heavily modified with five point harnesses, titanium panels, and bulletproof windows. It's practically indestructible so now will you get in the car, please?" Squall said in a hurried tone. He did not want to leave ko ko, but he knew that the longer they stayed here and argued the more zombies would rise in number.

ko ko looks at the car and literally starts sweating. "i can't get in that car" shaking her head more than necessary

"isn't there another way?"

We could tie you to the roof or one of the trucks behind us

Squall turns to regard Eric "I believe I said SHUT UP! I will handle this and we are NOT going to tie her to the roof. The car is powerful, but with the trucks tires destroyed towing them is useless." Squall then looked at ko ko and put his hand on her shoulder "Look I'm not gonna force you into the car, but I do need you to hurry into the car. You can sit in the front seat right beside me ok?"

Squall quickly glances down at the dog, then looks back up at ko ko "I also have a secure kennel that your dog can sit in. It's bolted to the floor, so it is also very safe. It's the safest and fastest vehicle we have right now so don't worry ok? We need to leave soon though." Squall said in a hurried, but caring tone of voice.

ko ko continued to refuse to even approach the car, gripping the crowbar still in her hands until her knuckles turned white

Squall was about to speak again when he noticed something down the block. It was Zombies and they seemed to be slowly making their way towards the group. Sighing deeply he realized their was only one solution and he didn't like it one bit, but it had to be done. He looked ko ko right in the eyes and said in a sincere voice "Ko ko, I'm sorry about this, but it's for your own good." Before she could figure out what he was talking about he struck with a side kick to the left side of her head.

She dropped like a sack of potatoes and was out cold. Squall quickly wrapped his arms around her, picked her up, and ran to the car. He didn't notice the dog chasing him until he got ko ko in the front seat, when the dog decided to bite him in the leg. Squall hissed in pain and managed to get the dog to let go before Squall put him in the kennel at ko ko's feet.

Looking back and realizing they had no time he slammed her door, ran around and jumped in the car. He slammed the door and slammed his foot on the gas and they were off like a shot. "Strap her in and then you strap in!" He yelled at Eric while he strapped himself in and adjusted the Gunblade so it was between the front seats.

((I figured the dog biting me was needed and that way you get a little revenge after you wake up and see what Tickle did. ))

Eric obeyed strapping ko ko in but he stood up as best as possible and lifted up the seat. He fished around in it for a second and grabbed a shotgun. He fiddled with a safety while rolling down the window. After both were done he stuck his upper body and gun out the window BANG BANG! Two zombie head explosion. he pulled back in and yelled "DRIVE!"

Squall snapped his head back at Eric when he heard the gunshots and saw two zombies without heads. "Nice shot kid. Now strap in and don't tell me what to do." Squall looked forward and realized that they were driving by the high school football fields and he could see the Interstate on the other side.

"Hang on!" he shouted back at Eric before turning hard and racing across the field. Five minutes later they were on the Interstate heading south, breaking the speed limit by at least 50 miles an hour.

Eric sits down and buckles up. "We should probably pick up my friend before we rescue the mechanics. He lives down by the river which if im not mistaken isnt to far from the graveyard either."

ko ko continues to lie motionless in the dreaded car

"We are not rescuing anybody else. Before you call me an a**hole you should realize that I didn't HAVE to save you two, but I did so be grateful and stop talking." Squall says in an exasperated tone as they speed down the interstate.

'It would be worth the risk to rescue them. My friend has plenty of guns, a car, and a small boat. The mechanics, have trucks to carry supplies and knowledge about fixing cars in case one breaks down. And it would help ko ko overlook you roundhouse kicking her."
