Squall pulled into his driveway muttering to himself about incompetent idiots, grabbed his Gunblade and walked into the house. He immediately mixed himself a tall glass of Jack and Coke, and turned on the T.V., and sat down in his Laz-y-Boy.

The TV only showed static.

((bwahhahahaha. of course i'm not going to question the fireworks. in fact, i have fireworks in my house right now. i'm playing half-way legit))

"eric. k, my name's ko ko." she said as they pulled in and got out of the truck. "i'm not quite sure what is going on, you know more than i do, but what i have figured out is we need to leave. i have no idea what place might be safe, but like alice and i used to do, let's prepare for everything. this here truck's name is the grizzly (yay for animorphs reference)."

ko ko leads eric around to the back of the truck and opens the back. "here we have an air compressor, chains, straps, extra batteries, tools, pretty much anything and everything. so if this truck gets stuck, we can get out. this here is a freezer. i gave it to alice as a present because she would never pack enough ice for out trips. those bags you pulled out of my truck are mine, alice's, and tickle's camping gear. everything you could need for one week in the mountains are in there. you might want to go to your house because i don't think alice's clothes will fit you..."

"Yeah that would probably be best. But mountains aren't an ideal place to hide. The best way to survive in this situation is too be self sustaining. Unless this stuff lasts us we would have to resort to hunting and the guns would eventually run out of ammo. The best kind of hideout is one where you can both seal yourself in and that you dont need to leave for supplies and ammo. A football stadium. A private school. A prison. Ive got a truck and plenty of dry food and water at my place. We should have split the food and equipment in half so if one car wrecks we still have half the food and tools."
