RAF Can Morph! (Read Introduction Before Posting)

I accepted his response. It made sense; this morphing stuff makes you tired, and he didn't have the strength to manage ((Why didn't KA go with that?! )) The alien dude, who I was having a hard time believing when he said he was actually named Lars, earned a bit of trust in my eyes. He seemed to be somewhat surprised by the request to 'acquire' him, yet he went with it anyways. I made contact with the cube. It felt similar to one of those gag pens that zap you just a bit when you click them, except... less startling. My heart beat increased. I hoped that I hadn't just done something really stupid.

Even all this time after, I'm still not sure if that choice was stupid or not. I lean towards the former of the two.

"I'm going to trust you. No offense, but I don't have much reason to right now. For all I know, this just gave me some horrible disease. But I'm.. I'm trusting you..." I said, giving a nod to the Alien as I reached out and touched his shoulder. "Because you're giving of yourself. And um... so ... I just touch you, and... that's it?" I felt half like an idiot for playing along with this, and half like a moron for not knowing what I was doing. Not that I should have known, but... it was awkward.

I put my hand on the cube and felt a weird sensation go through me. "You told us what this does and how to get more forms but not exactly how to use it. So how do we actually use it?"

     Josh, Shaun and that Caleb kid all touched the glowing blue box; one at a time. They then proceeded to acquire the DNA of the Andalite.

     Meanwhile, I found myself growing more excited at the idea of being able to turn into animals. Yea, I was an idiot, now that I look back on that night. As if turning into animals for two hours at a time would make the whole invasion barable. But, I was excited at the time. So, I reached forward and touched the blue cube.

     Besides, all the other kids were doing it.

     After a few seconds I recieved a shock that seemed to surge through my entire body. It wasn't painful. In fact, I almost started laughing.

     "I don't feel different." I said to the alien, examining my hands.

<Good your now ready. The way that you use this new power is relatively simple. To acquire an animal the first step is to make physical contact. ((you guys all started to acquire me before I explained how)) After that focus on the animal. Picture it in your minds eye and you will feel the animals DNA surge into you. After that you can turn into that animal any time by focusing on it. To change back you focus on your true form, your identity. While in morph you will  feel the animals mind and urges under your own. In some cases the instincts can be overpowering to the point that you lose control and forget yourself. You must use this new power to stop the yeerks at all costs. They could be anyone. The andalite fleet will come eventually but they have to fight the yeerks in other galaxies. Now be brave young ones. Go home and I will erase all trace of my existence here tonight>

I reached out and touch the cube. There was a pleasant tingling sensation. The Alien explained how to use it. It seemed almost too simple. I mean, come on, just focus.

I frowned, placing my hand on the side of the box. It felt warm, and a pleasant tingle ran up my spine.

"Is that it?" I asked, not wanting to remove my hand preemptively.

     Jessi touched the box. She didn't look too impressed. I knew how she felt.

     "It sure didn't feel like advanced alien technology." I grumbled.

"Yea." I had to agree that it had felt slightly underwhelming.

<Hehe. Yes that's all it takes. I understand that it currently doesn't feel like much. Once you morph you will understand. Now go home. Im going to have the ship self destruct now.> *the screeching of tires and shouting ov voices can be heard* <The yeerks are here! run! run!>

Sub visser 17: I was pulling up with a team of 20 armed hork bjair. From outside the abandoned lot I could see the lights from the andalites ship. With luck we could catch it off guard and I would have an andalite host.

     "Wait...Yeerks...her e, now?" I said, suddenly no longer excited. "What...what are they going to look like?"

<theirs three main forms. the first is a tall reptilian species that they use as soldiers because they have natural blades. The second is incredibly large insects that are ravaged by a never ending starvation. the third will be humans. Now go!>

"I'm sorry we couldn't help more. Goodbye." I turned and ran towards the far end of the site. Inthe opposite direction of the Yeerks.

     I felt bad about leaving the Andalite. I think we all did. There was something about him...I don't know. It didn't seem right that he was just going to die like that, so far away from his own planet.

     But I had to watch out for myself now. Everyone else seemed to be doing the same, anyways.

     But I still felt like I should say something to him. Something...

     "Um...live long and prosper?"

     The alien looked back at me, with an almost unreadable expression. I ran over to where Chris had dissapeared, still holding my iPhone. All the while, I wondered: had the phone recorded the thought speech?
