Well getting My Battle Morph: A Male Siberian Tiger and My Assassination Morph Inland Taipan should be very much doable but I really need some backup with the time matrix animals  :XD:

Cornson, you're new, so I don't expect you to know about double-posting.  Generally, it's an unspoken rule that you shouldn't double-post (unless your previous post was massive enought to warrant it -- as I've had to do in the "RAFize Songs" and "Memoirs of a RAFian" threads).  Just click the modify button.

Double posting happens on occasion, partly because we used to have an automerge feature for double posts (a feature which is currently unavailable but the staff are working on it). Members are encouraged and expected to modfy previous posts instead of double posting, but there are occasional exceptions for things such as posting in your own fanfic or personal profile thread. Anything else you should really be modifying posts, as Cloaky was politely pointing out to someone who wasn't aware of this.

Terrestrial = Gorilla. Marco had the right idea with this morph, you have excellent senses, can use whatever weapons/equipment are dropped, you're stronger than most bipedal species and you can climb/jump quite effectively. As a distant relative to humans it wouldn't be too dissimilar to the normal human form so it would be easy to control and get used to.
Animorphs = Howler. Obvious reasons ^^ Vast combat experience makes this a very ideal morph as well as it's howl, strength, speed and senses.
General sci-fi (excl reality affecting level) = Species 8472. Almost unstoppable due to it's evolutionarily peaked biology. Fast cell regeneration, survivability in all environments (incl the vacuum of space). No biological weaponry or poison will work against it. Pretty much the only thing it's lacking is acidic blood :XD: Whilst they don't generally use weapons there's no reason why they can't since their technology is more advanced than humans. Oh and telepathy ALWAYS handy!

Species 8472 would be pretty awesome. If I was limited to Earth animals it would definitely be a grizzly or a male lion.

I kinda think that gorillas are a better choice because they're useful and strong. Well rounded choice. It'd be the choice I'd pick if I was in a team too. Different team members picking the morph that fits them, the gorilla morph would be fairly adaptable to whatever role the team would need. Also can you imagine a highly trained martial artist or weapons expert morpher as a gorilla? (Obviously you'd practice first before rushing into a mission blind.) Gorilla wielding samurai swords :XD:

Completely true actually. A gorilla has far more adaptability than a grizzly or lion, however the only down side is that it might be much more susceptible to injury compared to a lion/grizzly which both have specific adaptions to prevent life threatening injury's which would be sustained during fighting eg. thick fur and skin. But I think a martial arts samurai sword wielding gorilla would be pretty cool to see plus pretty much invincible ;D

Yeah you're right! I think in the Animorphs world though a dracon beam would be fairly lethal to almost all Earth animals though but a gorilla might be able to fire back :P

I was just thinking that! :XD: I distinctly remember Rachel struggling to press an elevator button in #7 in Grizzly morph so a Dracon beam is out of the question. Whereas a Gorilla would be able to handle a Dracon beam issued to Hork-bajir and Humans which is a definite advantage.

Anyone said Leeran yet? They may not seem like the "combat" type, but think about it. Knowing an opponent's every move the second they think of it is a tremendous advantage.

Well I don't think they're combat worthy because Andalite tails can move quite a lot in 1 second. It doesn't matter too much if the Leeran can know that they're about to be slashed in half if they can't move away fast enough. Having prior knowledge doesn't mean you can prevent or avoid it within the given time frame. Same with guns/dracon beams/shredders etc. Knowing someone is about to pull the trigger doesn't save you unless you can move faster than the time it takes for the beam/bullet to travel the distance.

Leeran telepathy might save you or your allies if you could transmit the enemy's intentions to a faster moving ally but Leeran telepathy is fairly close range which means it doesn't give you a lot of reaction time.

I concede that Andalites and the other species that looks similar, but lacks the blade and is super fast would be the Leeran's biggest obstacle. I've always wondered though, considering the incredibly advanced telepathy the Leerans have, would it not be possible to deliver a type of psychic attack to an enemy before they're even in strikable distance? I'm thinking like a Howler's howl, but in your head.
