can't get pages to link

im almost exclusively posting from an i phone and for the life of me cannot find whatever button to press to add more pages to a post/topic.is it a mobile issue, and therefore my fault or is that impossible to do and i must use computer.really need help

Help me out here; what do you mean by add more pages to a post?

i mean link as in  making a post for fanfic, or any post and having 1 2 3 4 5 6 and so on when you click on it, it takes you to that section. Also how to edit something or make an addition, and have it show up on screen as a number. believe me i posted and ran out of space for text, how to add more is the issue

You can't do that. You just reply and add a new post. If no one's responded since the last post, the posts'll merge.

Are you talking about navigating multi-page threads? I don't think there is a way to go to a specific page; you can use the arrow links at the top of the screen to move to the previous page/next page or the first page/last page, but that's it as far as I know.
