I would easily be a controller who could get along with his yeerk.  Compromising for things when possible. 

Its pretty clear from the series that many yeerks have compassion and feelings for other yeerks so I guess it just depends on who I get.  I would much rather prefer a blue collar type yeerk then someone who buys into the whole propaganda from the vissers and council. 

Basically having someone who can relate to you would be a huge benefit to riding it out until Rachel the animorphs come to save you.
