Gah, okay, I'm sorry for this guys. The missus has been really sick and I've been taking care of here the last few days. Sleep-deprivation has kind of gotten to me though, so I've neglected the fact that I'm supposed to be NPC'ing Reli during Este's family emergency.

Bare with me guys! One god sleep and I'll hopefully be back on top!

Your encounter with Alloran was on the prison ship, after they had moved everyone else. You're now contained and shackled.

I'm back; at one point last week my Grandma went into arrest and had to be defibrillated, entubated, and put into ICU. She had only just been given her own private room by the time we got there, but now she can speak and has an appetite, so at least we're back to Square One, and the medical staff can start treating what actually has her in the hospital. :P

Thanks for your patience, and no worries, GM; you kept very nicely to character. I appreciate it.

I'm sorry to hear everything was so hectic, Este :s
Glad to have you back, though!

Also: Pemalite Update. I'm allowing some knowledge of the Pemalites. They have the same status as the Ellimist. A myth. No one knows what they look like, or even what a Chee is. All anyone knows is that the Pemalite race was significantly advanced, peaceful and had robotic servants.

I'd like to clear up my slip with the Chee.
The original post that I was going off of was when Seal where I thought she named the Pemalite as creator of the Chee. Since then, I let Seal know about their Myth-like status and she edited her post.

It was no fault of Seal's, I should have double checked to see what edits she made. Unfortunately I think it's too late now for me to recant that statement.

*shrug* I had already corrected my own post. I figure tiny discontinuities can be worked out or explained away over time, or eventually fazed out.

Also, it occurs to me that 1. our characters have eaten nothing over 2 days or more.

2. The Pemalite didn't recognize any of us as Kelbrid, and presumably he DOES know what they look like. It would be deeply illogical for us to go any longer without asking. I suspect the military characters will want to know that more than anybody else, because they want to know what they're fighting. The rest would be more concerned with a) the new Controller and b) the immediate dangers of being trapped as well as c) where the Hell are we?

In fact, each member of the team probably STRONGLY prioritizes a different factor in the overall situation; the military types would be concerned with potential combat and enemies, the Controller (and probably the Andalite) with the Esplin-infestation, the Hork-Bajir with being confined (and probably the Andalite, too, from more a claustrophobia-and-helplessness perspective), the high-schoolers with being trapped by a faceless enemy (and Shaun with his father's death), and the adult humans and Leerans with engineering an escape AND keeping the whole gang stable, under control, and in communication. Lee would also likely be freaked about his nothlit status, even if it's a delayed-freakout.
Lee and Reli, having morphing experience more than the others, would also probably be concerned about food, since they are aware how much it fatigues the body, and I expect the military guys will be ticked off, jumpy, and irritable because of lack of weapons.

Of course, I'm not asking anybody to dictate their actions by this... but you can safely assume that Reli will be following the pattern I described for her above, and the others would be logically-occurring priorities for the other people involved.
*shrug*
Heh... this post is as much me taking stock of the "likely" status quo, before moving on, as it is me relaying perspectives to you guys.

I agree. I think I'm going to slow the heavy posting down from here on in while we make our escape. Anwer some questions, build some characters.
I think I've been getting to excited and focused on revelations and need to take a ste back and let characters make their own decisions and establish who they are. A controlling GM is just as bad as a lax one, I guess.

Also: This guy just opened the door for you all:

Haha, I thought it was supposed to be Predator, or something. :]

Also, I've suggested in-game a 'formation' for the group to take; it covers our obvious vulnerabilities (the unarmed non-morphing humans, the potential Controller, and the nothlit, and whatever is behind us). I think it would make sense for a tail-fighter to think of that sort of thing on a pretty much constant basis, before anything else, and also for the military guys to pick up on it as a tactical good idea... even if they might object to being physically separated.

Also, if those guys' gamer decides he wants to use any of them as secondary cannon fodder or minor casualties, it'll make it easier with them farther away from his character (i.e. less likely to kill his main guy along with them).

Page 1 of OOC has been updated to account for morphs and plot movement.
