SO. For future reference, Jeffrey's powers work like this:
-His voice, when italicized or with certain other odd features, makes people more likely to listen to and believe whatever he is saying. Even if what he says is "All lighters look like cactuses." (In fact this is what his powers are good at doing--- Making you see pink elephants at the zoo.) It tends to be more effective when his target is unbalanced in some way (I.E. Miserable or inebriated, but especially when his target's unhappy-- This leads to...bad....things.
..>__<).
-The person's overall susceptibility is inversely proportional to their Myittnes--- I mean cussedness. XD Basically, the more stubborn the character is, the harder it is for him to convince them of anything. Usually. And people are more likely to be convinced of something they'd normally believe anyway--- Kind of like hypnosis in that respect. The more aggressively wrong the idea, the easier it is to resist.
- His particular variant is basically useless for making people like him. The poor man. X3 It's slightly more useful for getting people to do things, but not incredibly useful.
- Because the Bartender is a little **** (And for game balancing reasons
), his powers are unbalanced right now, and probably less effective. I'm an old hat at managing this sort of thing. I try to be careful. <3 SO...
