Well Goku, thanks for being a little more reasonable, but the thing is that this isn't a vampire RPG--it's an Animorphs-based one with mostly mortal characters, mostly human even, and those that have special abilities like Mar or Ossanlin can only use them very sparingly. They also can't heal themselves using supernatural powers.
The point is, everyone here has to adhere to general rules of realism, because of what their characters are. That way everyone's on a relatively level playing field, and there isn't an unfair advantage to any one person. Al's right, if my characters got hit with that shot they'd be dead--and probably disintegrated. Even if they had survived somehow, they'd be down and bleeding on the ground, not jumping deer and flying and denting spaceships.
See what I mean? If you want to play a vampire with super abilities, then make a vampire RPG. Otherwise, tone down your character's abilities so it's fair if anyone else does get in a fight with him. The bar is a place that focuses less on fighting and more on character development. When fights happen, the normal laws of physics and injury in real life still apply.
