In case I don't have Internet from Tuesday-Wednesday(ish?), control Chad as needed. I bequeath you the permission to do that...and to enjoy my not being annoying.

From book one...

I took a deep breath.  I closed my eyes.  I recalled the picture of Homer I'd formed in my mind.  I thought about becoming Homer.
I opened my eyes.  "Bow wow," I said, laughing.  "Guess it didn't work for me, Tobias."
The back of my hand itched and I scratched it.
"Jake?" Tobias said.
"What?"
"Look at your hand."
I looked at my hand.  It was covered with orange fur.
I jumped about a foot in the air.  "Ohh!  Ohh!" I stared at my hand.  The fur had stopped growing.
"Don't be scared," Tobias advised.  "Go with it.  Now you've stopped the morph.  You have to concentrate."

I did my research too.  Mid-morph changes mean breaking concentration not keeping it.

Oh.... I feel a little silly now. I guess I assumed that when Cassie 'held her wings till the very end' in book #3 meant that she had been able to slow the process, but not stop it. I guess you can though. So... why don't the 'morphs use that more often? That seems highly useful. I'll adjust Tarry's comments.

The blue names are normally for people on their birthdays, but since Rad has never listed hers (like many others on RAF), the forum automatically uses January first as the default birthday. Happy Birthday Rad!

My names is Sean.  I went on a cruise with my son, Chad, and Josefina and Brian, his friends from school.  We were normal; but that was before our summer vacation.

How about just explaining a bit about the "they", then starting in?

And I'm the exact opposite of you, Bear. I can talk into Audacity/any software program, and then listen and send it out, but I can't talk into my microphone on Skype. Maybe it's because I hate being heard live.
