Thank for the nice words.  Too bad nice words can't be turned into karma. 
There should be a time skip for the sake of pacing I think.  Jo getting back in the house can be handled with a look back type post.  Olivia still needs to dump the car and get a change of clothing but that might also be done with a look back post.

Host: Merlin Fairfax (last name from his birth father)
Host age: 20
Host appearance: Blond hair, icy blue eyes, fair skin, groomed, wears glasses to read
Host backstory: Merlin became a voluntary host to Jazar after becoming a member of the sharing at his college.  He knew that in the end humans will have no way to fight the Yeerks and he always wants to be on the winning side.  Both Jazar and Merlin want the power of Sub Visser 3's job and are willing to do anything to get it.  Merlin helped his Jazar make his mother a controller.
Yeerk: Jalzar 721
Yeerk backstory: Jalzar's old host was a rebellious Hork-bajir that fought him every day. He finds Merlin to be a refreshing host in comparison.  He is worried that he might be trusting his host too much.

Host: Miriam Jordan (Broadcast talent usually keep their maiden names)
Host age: 42
Host appearance: Blond curly hair, brown eyes, fair skin, the general make for TV look
Host backstory: Miriam had big dreams of working in the number 1 news market in the country, New York City.  With a degree in broadcast journalism, she went there after college leaving her family in Louisiana.  But the city knows how to take dreams and leave dreamer with nothing but ashes.  That is what her first love, Mr. Fairfax, did to her heart.  He left her when she found out that she was pregnant.  As a single mother she traveled from market to market were ever she could find work.  When she first met Mr. Woodhouse she fell in love but checked to see if he was too before pledging her heart to him.  Farmers didn't hop around looking for jobs they stay in one place, but she was willing to stay in Houston with the family they had.  It was not the girlhood dream she had but she would not give this up for that dream.  Then her son took her out to dinner...
Yeerk: Sandresh 85942
Yeerk backstory: Sandresh's old host was a Taxxon, always hungery and evil.  This new host fought with her every waking moment.  But love for her husband and the son that betrayed her and the daughter she was just getting to know kept up Miriam's fight.

  I'll be busy tomorrow so move my morphers as need be.  I think Tony should be the only other person to touch my Yeerks.

Well.... First off, I'm assuming you meant that the Yeerk died. Next... you see, our little band of good guys has already increased to seven, and they are (at least supposed to be) trying to keep anyone else from finding out about them. Y'know, the whole I-don't-wanna-die thing. Unless we had a real reason to capture this kid, or a real opportunity, I think we'd have to let him pass. Tarry (The andalite nothlit) would just about flip his lid if anyone else got the morphing power. It's not that we don't want you to join, gorrilaman, it's just that another character would make things really difficult. I'm willing to bet that the Yeerks could use some help, but the 'good guys' are pretty full.

Hey ya'll, I posted in summer Vacay! I'm a little confused though. Tarry and Olivia are running towards Sean right? Jazar and sandresh are Jo's parents?

Tarry and Olivia are waiting to be picked up by Sean near the customs office.  Jazar is Jo's stepbrother and Sandresh is Jo's stepmother.  Jo does not know that they are controllers.
