I think Animorphs is dying where I live. It's not in the bookstore where I go to, and I haven't seen #7 there yet. Then again, it's sorta small, and I should try Chapters.

They are in Chapters where i live

I don't work in the book business, but what takes the books so long to make, all they have to do is get the old books and new covers right? It should take 4 months to make new covers, but can't they just make all of them up till book 54 since they now all of the Cover Morphs, that will take at least 1 year, and they should've done that earlier... *shakes my head* What do I know about the book business? Not enough

This is so cool. I wish I'd known they were doing this sooner, now I have an excuse to go out and try to buy all the books again. (Never had all of the originals anyway.) Haven't seen them at Bam though. :( Amazon maybe?

the books are having minor tweaks in the writing as well.  still shouldnt take too long, but it's a valid business model.

I went to my Barnes and Nobles to buy the books, and the only one the had was 1 copy #1 The Invasion, and it was hidden behind Diary of Wimpy Kid!

Just message Scholastic at their Facebook, twitter, and customer service to get the message out.

I think personally, that this relaunch was maybe a way for Scholastic to keep the rights of Animorphs since it would probably are up by next year. Usually rights are held for 5-10 years and it would make sense.
