"Wait, aliens?  That bird is an alien?  I agree with this lady here," Kristin said, gesturing to the customs agent.  "This is all one big joke isn't it?  Aliens aren't real, especially aliens that live inside other people's brains."  Kristin took a good long look at the parrot.  "Nice job training that parrot though.  You really did a good job of making him unlike any parrot I've ever seen."

"O yeah trained the bird to act like an alien trapped in a parrots body," Jo said sarcastically.  "That I believe is still impossible.  He stayed in morph for more than two hours.  So that is who he is now."  She took a moment to ponder how hard Tarry had it.  A strange plant and a strange body all at the same time must make this harder for him than any of them.

"What is this about morphing?  And a two hour limit?  Nobody is really explaining to me what is going on.  You talk as if I already know everything but I don't.  I'm clueless here!"

Kristin looked around to notice some creepy looking guys in suits walking around.

"I think we better leave now....." Kristin whispered, nodding her head toward the suits.

"Okay, here's what we have to do: We've got to somehow get rid of any evidence we were here," Sean made a face at the others. "And somehow get out of here without causing any more scenes. Me and Brian, at least while he looks like that, have no connection to the rest of you. I'm going to take the cube, along with your extra luggage, and I'm going to wait in the 'D' Parking Lot way out in the back. I'm sorry to drag you into this ladies, but we've got no choice. I promise we'll explain later, IF you show us we can trust you. Ma'am? Can you somehow wipe any record of us and our little shenanigans today? Let's just say the fate of the world depends on it.... If she needs a distraction, you guys seem to be good at that. If not, then try to find a way to meet me out there, one at a time, 'kay?"

Brian pulled a shirt out from Mr. Black's bag and pulled it over his head. That was much better. Now if only he could borrow a razor....

"The fate of the world depends on it."  That would appear to be true.  But who was on the right side of this, dare she think, war.  Even for she turned in these freaks of nature in she feared being locked up with them.  "We don't have any choice but to trust each other.  I'll take care of the tapes.  Does anyone have a magnet?"

Chad touched Kristin on the shoulder and said, "Basically, you have the power to morph--change, that is--into something else. You have only two hours to stay in that morph. And...sorry about being a little angrier earlier on." He sighed. "I have that problem. I hope you won't mind."

"And I'm sorry Mr. Black for not telling you my whole plan," Jo apologized.  "You might have thought of something better than this."

Kristin's mind was blown!  She could morph into any animal she wanted for two hours at a time!

"Are you serious?!?  How did this happen?  And it is ok about getting angry.  I think everyone is a little on edge right now," Kristin said to Chad.

Kristin realized that she had left her suitcase in the bathroom.  "I'll be right back guys.  I left my suitcase in the bathroom when I started following...wait.  I don't think I know your name," Kristin said as she turned toward the teenage girl.

She quickly ran to the bathroom and grabbed her suitcase and returned to the group.  "I think I have an alarm clock with a magnet on it in here somewhere."  Kristin dug around in her suitcase and came up with her alarm clock magnet.  "Here you go!" Kristin said, handing the magnet to the customs agent.

"My name is Josefina," Jo said.  "But I'm called Jo even though the Spanish "J" in Josefina makes an "H" sound.  My dad started it and he is impossible around anything other than English."

Kristin held her hand out to Jo.  "My name is Kristin.  Nice to meet you, though I wish we hadn't have met under these crazy circumstances."

Kristin turned to the customs agent.  "How is a magnet going to help erase traces of us being here?"

"The security footage from the security cameras is kept on VHS tapes," Olivia said.  "I could just record over today's advents but erasing footage raises less suspicion.  The magnet when moved over the unprotected tape will ... will..."

"... Loose the data that has been placed on them magnetically, because the magnet would disrupt the magnetic field."

"Sounds....logical.  Ok, so you go do that.  But what should the rest of us do?"

Jo looked at Mr. Black.  She had made a mess of things with her ideas and Mr. Black was older and wiser.

Sean looked down the hall at the clusters of officials coming their way. "Okay, Ms... uh... Olivia" Sean read from her nametag. "Do you need or want backup for that? If not, the rest of you split up and get out of here without causing a commotion. Different exits, not all at once. I'm going to the back parking lot now with the cube. Brian, you stay in here just in case anyone needs help... don't get stuck with that spare tire. Tarry? No offense, but get out of here... now. Chad, Kristen, - nice to meet you by the way - and Josefina, unless Olivia wants help, scram." Sean hoisted his bag over his back, grabbed three suitcase handles, and headed out the door.

"I'll be over in the little bookshop there, but I'll keep an eye out to see what's going on. I don't want to look suspicious or anything. Good luck, guys." Brian said. "Oh, and welcome to the club!"

Kristin was still coming to terms with everything she had learned.  Aliens and morphing...it all seemed so ridiculous and yet it was true.  She was really glad that the older man was taking charge because Kristin was exhausted from all the running and could not think of what to do.

"I'm going to head to go buy a pretzel to buy some time and then meet you all outside in a few minutes," Kristin announced to the group.

She headed over to the closest Auntie Anne's and bought 2 pretzels.  Trying not to look suspicious, Kristin walked to the nearest exit and went out the door.  Once outside, she let out a breath she didn't know she had been holding.  Time to find the others.
