The Ghostwriter Awards
« on: September 28, 2010, 09:21:17 PM »
So, the poor ghostwriters get hated on all the time...with legitimate reason.  :( But, after way too much free time and about half an hour of looking at the Animorphs wikipedia page, I've decided to hand out some well deserved awards - not all of them positive - to these folks who kept the series going while KA was busy.

Most Memorable GW - Kimberly Morris for writing #38, #50, #52, and unfortunately #48

Most Prolific GW - Ellen Geroux, for writing five books (#33, #41, #43, #45, and #47)

Most Disliked GW- Laura Battyanyi-Weiss, who wrote #27, #31, and the dreaded #39

 :bow3:

GW Most In Touch With A Character - Melinda Metz. She wrote #29 and #34, so she obviously knows a thing or two about Cassie.

Most...um...Inconsi stent GW- Jeffery Zeuhlke. He wrote #25 as well as #35. What happened?

Most WTF GW- Emily Costello. She wrote #42 and Alternamorphs #2. Again, WTF?

 :disgrace:

And finally, the GW Who Obviously Didn't Work Out Award goes to - Erica Bobone! She wrote #36 and disappeared forever. Good riddance.

If you can think of any other awards that should be given, post them here!

I find it funny that the GW who did 36 wasn't asked to do anymore.

Nice topic.

I actually like #35. The storyline's stupid, but in terms of character development for Marco it's solid.

GW Most In Touch With A Character - Elise Smith. She wrote #30, #37 and #46, and in all three of those she's bringing Marco's A-game.

GW Who Obviously Didn't Work Out Award goes to - Erica Bobone. Totally agree on this one. Granted, the story would have been stupid no matter which ghostwriter handled it, because come on, Atlantis.

Ooh, I didn't even think about Elise Smith's Marco. I guess I overlooked her because #37 and #46 aren't Marco books. Good point.
